Any theme but the AT&T theme would do... I would prefer the Blackberry default theme. Any theme but the AT&T theme! And how about a blank background? Any background but the AT&T logo.Do you see a pattern here? I really do not appreciate a $600 purchase that is little more than an advertisement for AT&T.
As an avid business crackberry fan (and business manager) for over 3 years, I was appalled to find that I would need to slide the keyboard out to enter my security code, especially when I would do it 50-100 times per day. As every other touchscreen phone on the market has a pattern unlock method, this is the single issue preventing from purchasing this phone(s) PLEASE ISSUE AN UPDATE/APP/PATCH anything to bring this vital security & efficiency issue up to par.
I just purchased the 9800 and I need to change my default browser. On the 9700 you can go to Settings/Options/Advanced Options/Browser and then change the default browser settings.
With this new default browser I am automatically routed to the mobile servers with most websites. For instance when I log in to google it defaults to mobile.Or eBay.Or Southwest.I need the full browsers and on most websites you don't have the option to switch like with Google.
Would someone with the torch be able to tell me what the defaults are for the following on the device out of the box? 1) ring tone 2) new email alert 3) new sms/mms alert 4) new bbm msg alert 5) calendar reminder 6) voicemail alert
I looked on here & didn't find anything addressed prior, so forgive me if I just didn't see it & am reposting a question already addressed here. E-mail: I have 4 e-mail accounts. When I hit compose, it defaults to one I'd rather not use.I can hit the drop down key & choose one of the other 3, but I'd rather have it default to the one I use most.I had no problems w/ this in the Curve. There was a place to set the default mail.Any ideas?
Somehow I set the default currency to the British pound, so everytime I hit the $ on the keyboard, the british pound symbol comes up.
I tried to go to options then Typing and Input>Keyboard just like Blackberry tells you to and supposedly there is a choice to change the default currency key, but I don't have that option when I go into the keyboard menu. Can someone tell me another way to do this or expain why the option to change the default currency key is missing from my screen when I go into keyboard options.
where exactly is the adress book/all contacts stored by default in the 9800, i.e; in the mobile phone memory, in the SIM card (I don't think so) or in the micro SD card (media card)?
Is there a way to make the "Favorites" overlay screen the default overlay for your phone. So I do not want to see "ALL" as the first overlay and have to scroll right or left to get to the Favorites screen. I want Favorites to be the first thing I see when looking at the phone each time. That way I can put everything I used in Favorites and simply see that first.
I can't install a theme to my phone .jad or .AXL or any .file.what can I do to install?I know how to open manager and import file then it error me not supported.
I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.
i had a blackberry torch 9800 which i backed up to the blackberry desktop then it was sent away for a repair and they replaced it with anew 9800 i have tried to recover everything from the desktop but it says i need the old blackberry first?

I was experimenting with themes for my BlackBerry Bold 9900, and downloaded a Porsche Design theme. I was wondering how do I get back to my default theme that came with my BlackBerry? I can't figure it out, I go to themes on my BB, and it only lists the Porsche theme.
I have upgraed my Xperia NEO V to ICS 4.0.4 around one month ago. it is working very fine. UI is very neat and clean. I was using default black theme (Silver). It looked very nice to me. But once i changed the theme to some other, after it when i revrted to same theme (Silver) is is showing wallpaper of sinewaves, this was not there earlier. how to revert to that default black theme again.
I'm on vacation right now and don't have access to a computer. Writing this from my S2. I accidentally deleted the factory Preloaded storm 2 theme and can't find it to download. Could somebody give me the link of somewhere I can download it or download a really good theme.
Can anyone tell me the name or where to download the default theme for a new Nokia E6-00?I have the phone and downloaded some additional themes and now the default original does not seem to be there anymore.
Bought my C6-01 about a month back. Just did an update using Ovi Suite and don't quite like the Midnight themes that came with the update (there were no previews). How do I go back to the original 'green grass' theme that came with the phone?
My phone reset itself this Morning and I have lost the default Walkman theme, the only themes I have left are splatta pastelle connecto and vodafone. I did have it set to a Walkman theme that came with the phone, but its now lost. Was it a theme or a picture and where can I get hold of it again?
On other BB's I've moved pictures from the device to the media card using the "move" function - I can't find this on the Torch. Am I overlooking something or will I have to use Desktop Manager?
