Sep 24, 2011I am a first time blacberry user and i thought everything was going great, u know it takes a few days to access all the new gadget's on your phone. Well i have had my phone for months and not one time have i been able to access my app world from my phone i continually receive and error message after i input my log in information in. It is a complete waste of my monthly charges not being able to have full access to my phone.

Options > Device > Application Management > CPU shows a lot of applications that are using <1% of the CPU, but I don't know if that means that they are actually running. My "text message" icon recently disappeared from the "All" menu. It was seemingly replaced by a second "contacts" icon. Luckily I had it in the "favorites" menu as well so I can still access them. However it is annoying to have to flip to the favorites menu just to read a text message.
I have since set it so text messages go to the general messages inbox, however I would prefer to get the icon back. I have tried pulling the battery to no avail.

I called BB and there rep told me to hook it up to my laptop w/the BB desktop software and do a total backup then a resatart or whatever... All that did was screw up my laptop and that little envelope is still there. It's like a cockroach its survives evrything. I don't even use BB messenger or email . I have a gmail account.

Aug 10, 2011I have a Style 9670 running OS6 on the Sprint network.I upgraded to this phone about a month ago. approximately 2 weeks ago this error: application net_rim_bb_vvm(180 is not responding; process terminated.at first it was every 2-3 days. its now happening 2-3 times a day. Sometimes I can hit the ok button highlight and can continue using my phone, but as of lately more often than not, I must pull the battery as the phone locks up.BB support was unable to help. Sprint my carrier has been unable to help and wants me to drive another 30 miles to a "tech store".

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Feb 7, 2012Upgraded my Nokia N8-00 to Nokia Belle today. Everything is great - phone feels much faster, menus are speedier, looks are stunning, no hitches or data loss during upgrade (except for few applications like Fring which disappeared). So congratulations on your fabulous work on the Belle firmware!A big grouse however is the redesign of the Messaging application. I am used to seeing the good old folder-based view of Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. as soon as I open the Messaging app (I'm sure that's the case with most people).However, in Belle, when I open Messaging, I see all my messages from all folders in one place (arranged by date & time). This is very, very confusing and not pleasant at all, since messaging is one of the most important things done on a phone, even today.I know I can still see the folder-based view by clicking on the rightmost option in taskbar and selecting "View folders". But I don't want to be doing that everytime.

Jan 5, 2016My fingerprint scanner is not working. I did a factory reset and cleared cache. I also got my home button changed for a new one (i thought it was scratched). Bit the problem still persist with another home button. Button was originally replaced under warranty, so it should have fingerprint reader in it.
I went to my phone dialer and typed *#0*# -> sensors -> fingerprint and i got this: none

Feb 3, 2011I was receiving the message "There is insufficient network coverage to process your request; Please try again later" only when I tried to open a New York Times site with my browser--other websites opened fine. I received this message repeatedly whether I was on a good 3G connection with Sprint or a very good wi-fi connection, so I knew it had NOTHING to do with "network coverage."
