I've went and checked the email option to automatically download my pictures and it doesn't do it, I'm not on a corporate server I have hotmail and yahoo. If anyone knows a fix let me know.
View 5 RepliesOk. I have looked online. I have resent my service books. I have done battery pulls. I've done....everything. I called Verizon and they resent my service booka and re-registered my email address. Then she told me to check in the applications list and see if I had blackberry attachment loader of something like that. I wasn't at my computer but she assured me that that's all I needed. Said all I had to do was connect to the desktop manager and load it on. It wasn't there. I have no clue what I need to do but if someone can please help me get this fixed I would greatly appreciate it. I can't open any pics that people send me and its driving me up the wall.

I have 2 saved profiles in my set up.
Problem is that it will only re-login into the last one used.How do I get it to automatically switch between the two? Is it even possible? Since I scanned and found my work network, then connected - tomorrow when I get back to work it will automatically log in - IF I don't log into my home network when I get home.
Instead of manually selecting Options, Cache Operations, and Clear History when in the browser is there not a program or option I have overlooked to automatically clear this data? The whole cleaning option does not to my knowledge.

The problem is when I wake up the radio is off.How do I get the radio / mobile network to not turn off automatically? There are times when I need to be on call at night and I need to be able to receive calls. Also, there when I put it on the charging dock the battery is more than 50%.

I've been using the GMail Sync for my Contacts (via BIS) for about a month now. It has solved the duplication issues that happen quite often when using Google Sync program.
My problem/Issue is that some of my Contacts Pictures work fine (Caller ID etc) and some continue to be deleted. I save them, then they disappear, save them again, they disappear. I cant figure it out. I dont do the Facebook thing, so i dont have it linked to that.
searched for term "animated"- got a lot of hits, but nothing that was relevant.
essentially, is it possible to make animated pictures last longer? Specifically, MMS pictures. I have received a few, and they last MAYBE 5-6 seconds before stopping. I can restart them, but then they only last maybe 4-5 seconds.
I know it's not related, but I did check my browser general properties, and have already set "repeat animations" to "as many as image specifies". MMS and SMS options have nothing that relates to the issue, nor does the Messaging app options.insight? feedback? have a coke and a smile and shut the f--- up?!?!
I've got the problem with the camera button as it doesn't open the camera and other app as well. When Im in photo mode the button make a focus but if I press it for a while it turn the phone off or if I push it for 2sec it work's like a lock screen button.

I put two and two together today when I received a call while the phone was plugged into my ps3. unplugged, it rang properly. plugged into my pc--same issue. tried my wife's phone plugged into my computer--same issue. Plug the phone into the RIM charger, the ringer works correctly.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have Storm2s which we are obviously running on Verizon Wireless.We have the same official operating system (.713) and each have some apps. I tend to have more apps so she actually has a little bit more memory.
Lately she's been complaining that her phone has been running really slow loading up websites. I did a little side-by-side test with our blackberries.
I did the same search on the google mobile app (for Adam Sandler) and clicked on the wikipedia link at the exact same time. Mine launched the browser, loaded the wiki page and was completely done before her browser even stopped showing the word "blackberry".
She also consistently has a lower quality signal (by using the Quick Launch "Device Info" option I can easily see signal strength on both of our phones).So, my question is, what is causing her blackberry to have a lower quality signal than mine when we are in the same exact location, on the same network, running the same O.S., etc.?

I have two storm 2's and on one of them the lock button clicks real good. The other one is more mussy. Any ideas? Should I get the one replaced with a refurb? Other than that it works fine.

And what would cause it to fall off of one phone but stay on the other phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried to setup my email on my BB storm 2 just now and when I go to setup>setup wizard>email setup> I only get one option > " I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server" when I click next, it says "has your blackberry enterprise server administrator provided you with an enterprise activation password?"And no I was not provided with one, so I hit no>next> it then says "contact your system administrator to find out whether an enterprise activation password will be provided, or if you need to install the blackberry desktop software" I do have the BB desktop software installed.So how do I fix this? Do I have to setup my email from the BB desktop program that came with my phone?

My emails and SMS text messages were combined eliminating one icon to have on the main screen. I used to be able to go under options from the email icon and change that. Now I can not find where to make this change back to one?

1. If I reply to an email on my BB, is there a way to get a copy of it on Outlook on my PC? I would like to have some sort of paper trail on my computer.
2. If I read an email on Outlook, is there a way to make it show that the email has been opened on my BB? For example, I had four emails in my mailbox. I read them all on Outlook and responded to them. Then I look at my BB and I had four new emails, thought I've already opened, read, and responded to them.

I use comcast for email. I use verizon for cell service (BIS). If I get an email to one of my addresses and it is spam or an ad or something disposable, is it possible to delete it from my phone and have it delete from the mail server as well - meaning, when I finally get around to opening outlook to download my mail, I will not get the ones I've deleted from my phone? I am sure this is a simple thing - but for some reason I get more and more confused the more I try to figure it out.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 2 personal, 2 work, 2 miscellaneous email accounts. I combined the 2 personal into a "personal" folder, the 2 work in a "Work" folder and left the other 2 alone. I have 4 email accounts on my first 2 rows. You know what I mean, right? How do you manage your accounts? Do you have separate email accounts on your screen? How do you combine them? I know it is a personal preference but I am willing to try a new trick (even as an old dog!)
