I have a Storm 9500. I have been trying to install a Kingston 8GB SDHC card with no success. The phone is not reading the memory card at all. I have tried taking out the battery and installing the memory card, I have tried formatting it on my computer, but nothing is working.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHere are options that I have tried:- Ensuring Back cover is on completely- Purchased new Micro SDHC card- Updated Xperia Play to latest software using PC Companion- Removing and re-inserting card whilst on, and whilst off.- Searching for related issues (None found, except back cover issues).
When the phone discovers the card, after attempting a mount it tells me "Blank or unnsupported card".Being un-able to connect my SDHC card prevents me from playing any games installed on the device, using the camera/video, and installing new programs or games.
my first post here. I've had problems with a 32Gb card, don't know if the problem is the card or the "SDHC" standar. If I change to the 8Gb card that came with the mobile everything works fine.If I copy music to the phone via media sync or just dragging files only few of the files appear in the phone. i.e: For a 10 track album I only see 4 songs.Also having problems with pictures or videos, the files seems to be corrupted. Any ideas? I'm using Snow Leopard + Sony ericsson Media Sync. Also tried Saling Media Sync.Vivaz software version: 1224-4699_R2CA026

I did not know my media files were saved on my SD card. I thought they were saved on my device.
In the options, under Memory, it says Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card has been formatted.
First I took the memory SD mini card 8G out and put it back in.
Still same message.
So then I went to Format and formatted it...as it asked me to do.
Error message came up. Saying Format Failed.
However all my files are gone.
I am so mad that my blackberry told me to ensure it was formatted. Everything is gone off my BB.
Is there a way to recover this data?
I haven't backed up my BB before.
I used BBSAK to wipe my BB Strom 9530. I installed an OS for storm on my system. But when I run the loader it says that the files are not compatible with thte device. Mine is an unlocked BB Storm that I had bought in India. It was company unlocked.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a problem with the GPS function of Google maps and read somewhere that I needed to re-install BB Maps to get it to work.I have removed BB Maps from my phone (and Google maps) and have tried to re-install BB Maps from the website (and from the email method). The install claims to be successful but BB Maps is not installed, when I check the applications from the options menu I can see that an application called "ibs_ribbon" has been installed but no sign of BB Maps?

Do I need to format the card transfer stuff.I don't want to do I need to format the card in the phone onthe computer and if in the computer "how". I am trying to go to a 1gb to a 4gb... I looked on the forums for awhile and found only the tutorial on inserting the card, I had no trouble with that.
