After several years of using my Storm 9520, I have suddenly been presented with an error message, 0x83860028, whilst trying to synchronise my phone with my PC. It says to consult documentation but after many hours of searching, I've found nothing.
View 1 RepliesDuring hard wire sync to desktop Outlook, I'm now receiving Intellisync error code 0x83860028 (never happened before now), and it aborts the synchronization. Can't find reference to this code anywhere, and don't know what's causing it (it stops after reviewing all Outlook contact records). The error occurs on two separate BB's with different contact lists.

I can not make or receive calls and can only text sometimes. I went to the local verizon story and they said to check for updates on the blackberry website but none were available.

Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my BB for personal use only. The email account I have registered on the phone is my gmail account. Just today, I noticed I can no longer send (compose new or reply) emails using this account on my phone. I get the following message in the email I attempt to send:
message status message included an invalid address
I can receieve my gmail messages on my phone no problem. My gmail account login information is correct on the phone.
I've tried searching for this problem but what I find always seems to be related to enterprise configurations using an Exchange Server and the fix was for the Exchange server. That doesn't fit my scenario.
I am showing a message icon on my screen, but there are no "new" messages to be found? Any suggestions?

When I view the email, I see none of the email content, and instead see "Error in parsing this message. Couldn't display the body part.I am able to receive and display other multiparty html emails with utf-8 encoding, but nothing i send seems to work.I have even changed the HTML content of the email to just "aaa" with no markup, but that doesn't work either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently ought a BB Storm2 9550 for couple of days it was working well but i got some connection problem so I was told to change the software which i did successfuly but there was still sone problem in browsing the internet. then again I was downloading the software but in between my laptop went into hibernation mode by the time I could recover it. the Device showed error 523 then again i tried to reconnect it but in vain. the Desktop Manager couldnt detect it. and I took the battery out and then tried to restart but it gave error 200.
Now it is not starting nor is getting connected to Desktop manager. I need some experts to help me out here there are not many people who can help me with the device.

Prior to a recent upgrade of the DM, I was able to sync my Calendar and Contacts. Now I get Blackberry Desktop Synchronization error "Determining the root configuration of main system" and then a Intellisync error follows displaying "Unknown error reported". I am unable to complete the sync.

When I try to text it sometimes goes through immediately but most times it tries with the red box and check mark and then it gives me a SMS error 97. Sometimes I get an SMS Error 0. I can no longer resend the message. This has never happend with any other blackberry I have had. It always tried to send the message until it got it through. While this is going on I still recieve e-mails and text messages. What is the problem and how can I address it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThere appears to be no fix for this problem. RIM suggests the issue relates to email2 and/or email3 entry's with no content in the email field for the Outlook Contacts. This has been thoroughly checked and I confirmed this was not the case (also confirmed no East Asian characters).The problem is definitely in the newest version of the Device operating system. When I rolled back to the old operating system, the problem goes away.I can not believe RIM has no contact capability within the Support website for people with problems! Very user unfriendly. They are begging for customers to switch to iPhone.
