Apr 18, 2010I am currently reciving two notifications in my "messages" folder when reciving one email.I get one email from Old Navy in my gmail or my me email and in the email folder it shows one. When I look in the "messages" section there are two.
When I delete the duplicate message notifcation it just says "delete" and the first one notifcation it says "on mailbox & handheld" or "on handheld"

Nokia :: Can Delete Favorite Places In Bulk?
Jun 9, 2010I have been creating all sorts of trails within Ovi maps.I have, in error now created at least 400 "favourite places" while trying to create a trail.These favourite places seem to be slowing down my devices, and I can find no easy way of deleting them. Other than selecting each one and confirming individually.I have deleted the places on the Ovi Maps interface within IE, but I am unable to synchronise the phone to pick up my deletions.I'm guessing I am unable to sync due to the very large number of favourite places I have on the device.
I've tried to delete OVI maps, but I'm guessing its part of the OS...Does anyone know how I can delete them through the file explorer view?
BB Bold 9700 :: Emails Are In BULK Folders
Jul 15, 2010I have a blackberry bold where all my emails are being bulked into groups/folders.Basically in short, all my emails are bulk bulked up, such as if anything forming from person A will go into a folder, anything from person b goes into folder b.I am using also several email account and it happens to all of them.
This also makes it hard to search for any recent emails that just came in. I talked for numerous hours to Tmobile and even more with specialist with blackberry and they couldn't find a solution. Someone did mention to me that the Bold 9700 and if your on a 5.0 software with gmail account it messes it up and bulks up the emails.
It's strange because my son uses a Curve 8900 and has access to my email account but it doesn't bulk up the same emails, and he is on 4.6OS

There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?

Yesterday added Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.1.4.17 to the phone, which previously had been provisioned by Verizon directly (connected to our exchange server). Email comes in just fine, but if I wish to either reply or forward the message, at the very top of the message, there is a note that states: "Send Using" and next to that is a button that shows "Desktop v" (the v is a down arrow). I am unable to change the Desktop button to my email account.

Apr 26, 2010I am 1 step away from throwing this phone against a wall, I really need to access my emails asap.. So hoping some1 can help..Basically it seems to intermittently go into this mode or has this bug or even screen damage? If i open my emails for example what ever I click on it highlights every email from the top to that specific email instead of just selecting 1 email. I cannot click on any individual email it just highlights multiple emails and its impossible to open any emails like this, even if I use the BB Function button then click on Open it jumps to the top "Help" and wont select "Open" or any were else on the menu. It happened a few times over the last week or 2 then randomly goes back to normal, was fine all weekend now it has just happened. I cant select some of the main icons on the home screen either, it's really starting to seem like the touch screen is damaged?? (Also I noticed on the facebook ap there is 1 icon it will now not select unless I tilt it to the side..)

Mar 17, 2010I have the icon sayin that i have an unopened email but when i looked there was nothing that i had not read yet.. i did a battery pull (my first instinct) and then clicked marked all open in the options menu and it is still there there is no red * next to the icon just the envelope with the number 1. i also checked my vmail and deleted all vmails and it is still there please help!

Apr 8, 2010I want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.

This has only started since updating my OS earlier in the week. As you can immagine this could lead to some serious confusion.
