BB Storm :: 2 Features Locked / Disabled (BT & MMC)?

I recently bought a blackberry Storm 9500 but some of the features are disabled.I did an upgrade V.5.0.0.451 (platform 4.2.0.198)BLUETOOTHI can manage the Paired Devices but not to send or receive files...Bluetooth options > Discoverable NO (with a chain lock) when going to Manage Connections> Set up BT a message appears about adding a devicesearch/Listen or cancel) when I chose search e identify new devices..Owen listen a error appear: DISCOVERABLE MODE HAS BEEN DISABLED BY YOUR SISTEM ADMINISTRATOR.
MEMORY CARDis a 4Gb CDC (working in other devices)when inserted a message appears recognizing it but isn't present on Applications > Files...I have already tried to format and / or repair inning it ith de BB but the problem remains..Options > Memory > Media Card Support is OFF (with a chain lock) has been disabled by your system administrator", the media card feature is disabled too so I can't put in a memory card and I can't put any apps on it.

What 'features' work with this phone if the Internet is diabled? I don't have a data plan and don't want a huge bill by leaving it connected. What is with the melody fading in when you set the phone not to do so...
The ring tone choices are not great, am i able to add my own or buy one with out internet? I still don't think I like this phone as much as most people here do!

I have an iPhone 3GS, and it was misplaced for quite some time. And now that I have it back, no one remembers the passcode. I didn't realize that trying a different passcode every time it allowed me to would disable it completely. So now it says "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes." I have no problem restoring it and it deleting all of my apps, I can get those back. I have an issue with it deleting my contacts and photos. The problem is, I was never able to back it up, beacause my computer wouldn't recognize the phone when I plugged it in. We just got a new computer and now it'll recognize it. Is there any way to save the photos and contacts and still get into the phone?

So i do not have 3g connection. So whenever my iphone is locked the wifi seems to drop until i turn it back on. It never did this before now im receiving iMessages LATE, im talking 5-45 minutes late.

My stepson lost his phone so I turned off service and reported it lost. In the meantime I got a new SIM issued and put it in my old Blackberry for him to use. 4 days later he found the phone. I took it into AT&T to have the SIM changed over and we are unable to get past the screen that says Emergency call only and displays a number pad. The screen saver says in red Iphone is disabled connect to iTunes. I did bring it to my house to try and connect to itunes but when I did that it asks me to put the password of the phone into the phone, which I cannot do as it only will let me make emergency calls...

I recently upgraded my storm 9530 operating system and since then I have not being able to disable my firewall.in the view of this is blocking me from using some app like whatsapp, foursquare,viber and a lot of apps. I have tried uninstalling and installing these apps back but is still not working. When ever I try to disable the firewall the disabled button does not appear..and also when I open whatsapp it tells me java i.o error no working transports.

I purchased a new Storm 2 from a Verizon subscriber.He indicated that the phone is unlocked however after putting my t-mobile sim card and trying to make a call.I receive the message that the phone cannot be authenticated.Does this mean it is still locked?T-mobile says they cannot unlock the phone.What is the best method for getting the phone unlocked?

New user here. I am on my second Verizon Storm2 (in one month) with same issue. After dialing Verizon *611 or when calling voicemail, the number keypad is disabled and the numbers are gone or moved to different locations so I can not enter PIN. I am sure it is a software issue. Tried a hard reset with no luck. VZ authorized retailer believes he can fix this problem by wiping clean and reinstalling one app at a time. Has anyone else had same problem and any luck with a fix?

i follow this instructions
1. Turn off all of the wireless connections (manage connections - turn all connections off)
2. Go to the Options icon on the device
3. Select Advanced Options
4. Select SIM Card
5. Hit the Menu key to select Show Keyboard
6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)(enter just the mepd, no spaces, etc.)
7. Enter the letters: mep2 but it doesnot prompt

I work for a large Banking group. The Bank uses Vodafone as their provider (i have a work phone). Last week i needed to change my password which i did. But as luck would have it i made it so complicated i forgot what i changed it to. My IT dept unlocked the devise the following day BUT the MEDIA CARD is asking me for the password to access my pictures. I have no idea what my password (the one i changed to) is and therefore cannot see any of the pictures from my wedding or my kids. DOES ANYONE know how i can access my media card to see my pictures again.

I've had my 9530 since about September. Today I was snapping a few pics, and the phone just locked up. Did a battery reset, and now it won't do anything! Keeps going from the black screen to a white screen with the little spinning clock and back? WHat happened?! I don't have insurance on the phone, but I don't think its an "insurance" issue as I didn't do anything. Is it still under warranty since I've only had it since Sept?

I recently bought a verizon bb storm 9530, bought the code to unlocked and be able to use it with Tmobile, but I accidentally enter the wrong code 10 time and now I can not unlock to use it with tmobile at all.... is it true that the phone can not be unlock with any provider anymore since I locked it, it can be use with verizon, but that is not the provider.

I was scrolling through my pictures and the phone locked up with a picture halfway scrolled meaning I saw two pics at once.I did a battery pull and now the phone won't do anything?I reinstall the battery and get a solid red light for a few seconds and then a backlit screen but no image the buttons are lit also but nothing else turns on no matter what buttons I pushed in any order.

In linking to new Playbook, messed up and had to 'start again' with blackberry phone. Messed up also with my old password and after 10 tries it froze. I have gone through password reset process but still blocking me with the message: Your account has been locked. Please try again after the lockout period has expired or call customer service.Any suggestions other than a call to technical desk. I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite. Incidentally, I didn't see the option after 10 tries to enter word 'blackberry' but it was late at night and frustration had kicked in. Possibly I missed that.

My Storm 1 crashed Sunday night with message on screen stating 'Reload Softwares 552'. I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

Prior to the update I kept getting a time scape video showing me how to use all the features, this kept draining my battery to the point where I did not want the phone anymore.
Then after I did the update the other day and it got rid of the problem J. Then it came back on today, and I want to know how to get rid of it as it drains my battery.I know how to use the features I don't need a demo video playing in the background.
