Sep 17, 2010which functions I can use with the 9105-way of the ALT-mode - volume key up-down-up-down-up?I know of the event log by pressing 55545554 in ALT-mode. Are there any other functions? I'm trying to reset the app world with ALT + rst but it is not working.

Jul 22, 2010I have three email addresses which are picked up directly through my blackberry using the "mobile friendly" versions of the standard webpage.During attempting to check my standard ISP webmail (BT Yahoo), I was confronted by the following.Error: The requested URL could not be retrieved. we can't open the requested web page because of an error with the web page server. If the problem continues, contact the web page administrator. Error code: 10030 That was about 7 hours ago.Since then I have used the same URL on my laptop and successfully accessed, read and sent some mail with no issues and yet my 9300 still shows the same error message and won't progress from that screen. I have tried going through the desktop version of the BT site as well on my BB, still with the same results.

With very slow browsing that mostly fails by saying "Unable to find the requested server" I have a Dlink router model 2730u. I tried restarting the router, resetting it, scanning for the wifi connection, restarting my BB device, Removing the battery for minutes are restarting again. ALL failed. There is nothing wrong with the website and it can be accessed via Internet Explorer. My partner also has a torch on a different carrier and is also experiencing the same problem. I am connected to the wifi but i cannot access the internet through the browser or you tube. I have a data plan and a backberry data inclucded in my plan . I spoke to my service provider and had someone in india direct me to turn the wifi off as the soulution I live in an area with low service and require the wifi for fast browsing .

Jan 10, 2011me and my wife bought the 9800 3 days ago we updated the software and pulled batterys and did the kb02830 send the service books for the blackberry internet service all with no luck. i can log onto my home network (linksys wrt54gs) with no problem but at work were there is public access (that everyone can use except mew/ cell and ipod) i get that message i did the ping test ,diagnostics and all come up good, sometimes ill get cnn and or Internet. why does this happen is there a fix ,is it in the programming ,the network what? we will be most likely taken ours back to get iphones.

Mar 25, 2011every time i try to browse the web at home on my curve 9300 with wifi i get the error message 'unable to find requested surver' if i turn wifi off then i can browse with no problems, i have a data plan and have tried the following:-
1, hard device re-boot
2, downgrade to previous software
3, reset my home router
4, turned off wifi, deleted my connection, re-boot then reconnect.
i have also checked trouble shooting and found that 'Blackberry infrastructure' has a connecting error. im starting to pull what little hair i have left from my head

Nov 11, 2012I have a Blackberry 8230 that won't turn on. When the battery is charged, the red light flashes very slowly (about 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off). When I plug the USB cable into the computer, I see the BB hard drive for a brief second or two, then it disappears. It will appear briefly again about 20 seconds later, then disappear again. Is the battery shot? Or could there be something else going on? The phone was on the charger all night.
