IPhone :: Delete A Requested Update?
May 25, 2012
Sometimes i get those annoying updates and they arent anything important so could be something like an update to adapt to the new iPad for example, and rather than taking up valuable room on my device with these updates is there a way i can delete them, like a sort of "mark as read"?

Last time I did the software update to my 3G iPhone, all my bookmarks in Safari (on the phone) were deleted. I was very unhappy about that, so I've been hesitant to do the latest update, because I don't want it to happen again.
Is there some way to back up Safari bookmarks, so I can put them back on again if they're lost? I'm very hesitant about syncing/updating things, since I always manage to lose lots of stuff on the phone whenever I try to do something

I have three email addresses which are picked up directly through my blackberry using the "mobile friendly" versions of the standard webpage.During attempting to check my standard ISP webmail (BT Yahoo), I was confronted by the following.Error: The requested URL could not be retrieved. we can't open the requested web page because of an error with the web page server. If the problem continues, contact the web page administrator. Error code: 10030 That was about 7 hours ago.Since then I have used the same URL on my laptop and successfully accessed, read and sent some mail with no issues and yet my 9300 still shows the same error message and won't progress from that screen. I have tried going through the desktop version of the BT site as well on my BB, still with the same results.

I bought the Blackberry curve last week and have had pblms connecting to home wi fi. I have it all set up and the fone recognizes the wi fi on it and only let me connect once to the wi fi.After that it keeps coming up with the message - unable to find requested server - even though it did work once the first time after I had set up the wi fi wizard. I had put in the key.

I have had no problems accessing our company website using my Torch. Since yesterday I get an Error Code : 10005. There is nothing wrong with the website and it can be accessed via Internet Explorer. My partner also has a torch on a different carrier and is also experiencing the same problem. This can only be RIM related. Does anybody have a solution for the problem or does anybody know why this problem occurs

Motorola, since it is clear we are not getting an explanation of what happened, I think it is reasonable to request a change log. Since it appears to have been a mistake Verizon has not put anything on their site. It is making it difficult for those of us that got it to know what we are supposed to have and exactly what may have been removed. It does not appear to be the same as what the M and HDs got.

My Bold 9000 screen shows "unable to find the requested server" 70% of the time when trying to load any particular internet webpage. WiFi is strong and connected. Doesn't matter which website it is. Very sporadic. Will load one minute, then when requesting a moment later will show above display. Very unreliable to a point of being useless. Have tried everything online and no resolution.
