I got my blackberry for a month and it stop working it hasn't been on water neither in any other probable cause to stop working what could it be charger works and everything my screen on the thing don't work and a red light comes on when plug it but then I turns off in 5minute
View 1 Repliesiphone 4 won't turn on. I press top button and still nothing. I plug it in and there is a pic of plug and itunes logo. I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. When done extracting, a messages comes up and says this iphone can not be restored error 1656. What can I do now? I bought this phone new in October. It has not been damaged in anyway. It started one morning after charging all night.

I can plug it in but it doesn't seem to recognize the plug...I've tried a couple of them now...no charging, no data transfer. I think the receptacle must be broken in the iPhone itself. It worked a couple of times after I started having the problem but doesn't seem to work at all now...my phone is slowly losing its charge so I need to do something today - because I can't be without a working phone.

1 week ago i walked in the water with my mobile.. Nothing worked anymore. I took my mobile to a telefone store and they have repaired my mobile. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. If i get other notifications the blue led light still gives light and the red light is blinking that i have something.

I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking. I've taken the battery out, i'm at my wits end.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy curve 8520 came with the plug in and when I try to download gmail app, it just incorporates into the e-mail folder. What I would prefer is what I had on my old phone, the G-mail "envelope" icon so that when I read my gmail (where all my e-mail goes) inbox I have all the features (star, label, etc.).
To accomplish this, should I remove the plug in via DM and then download the G-mail app from the web?
So i bought a curve 8530.I had a curve 8330 until i dropped it into the toilet. anyhow so i plugged my new phone that i bought yesterday into my NETBOOK vis the USB cord and it turned my phone off... and it had the red LED on and the phone would NOT turn on until i unplugged it.So i tried it on my desktop computer and VOILA! Worked but not on my netbook (I need it to work on my netbook for tethering)

1- I can recieve/send from my BB but in the Gmail folder on my BB (the envelope with a globe thingy) I only see what I recieve. Is there a way to see everything like with my hotmail, yahoo and BB accounts?
2- How do I set up filters to recieve only personal emails using the BIS website? I entered the add filters and selected not to push emails exception Personal and didn't recieve anything.
Is there a way to disable the 'initializing voice command' when I plug into the headphone jack? Whenever I plug my headphones to listen to music, or plug my line-out cord so I can listen in my car, it always prompts me to 'say a command'. While a minor setback, I find it annoying since it's never what I use it for.Anyway, is there a way to turn it off, or set it to automatically play music when plugged in?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave had my 8530 for two months now and today I noticed that anytime I push a button on my phone for any reason I get a steady red LCD light. The LCD goes dark when the backlight goes out. The battery is charged and I can make phonecalls. I don't have any outstanding messages and have used the reconcile now option just in case. I scoured the net looking for a solution and the only thing I can find is to do a battery pull or disable the LCD. I definitely don't want to disable it, and I ran across one person who posted that when she did a battery pull that her BB didn't turn back on afterward--so I'm REALLY hesitant to try that!
I haven't upgraded anything on the phone. I was listening to Pandora when this seemed to happen, but I use Pandora every day.Any suggestions/thoughts? I'll do the battery pull if I have to, but I'm hoping to find other solutions.
I installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?
i just want to download and install weather app and i get 2 error messages, the first on says that i am using an outdated or unsupported web browser and the next says plug in error, reconnect and try again, it also says if i have content protection to diable it. i have no idea what to do to change my browser or content protection to solve installation and download issue
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the curve 9360 in January this year. Ive updated software before by using the wireless updater. Two days ago I updated it, all was fine until yesterday. The battery was still about 30% when suddenly I got the 'battery too low for radio use' notification. The signal went off and went back on again, this happened about 10 times till the battery actually turned orange, you know, before it goes red. It kept vibrating so I turned it off. This morning, I put it on charge and the red light goes on for a while and the nothing. Its been on charge since 8 and still nothing. When I remove the battery and put it back in, the light around the trackpad goes on and then off again. Is it the battery?

I took the batter out, back in and tried the scroll mutliple times but it wouldn't work. It would always show the little white box and do software verification. After like 5-8 times, I took it off again and put it back in except this time, the blackberry curve wouldn't turn on, no white box or software verification at all! I having the problem after update my X10 to android 2.1. I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1...
