Oct 3, 2012I need to reset or retrieve my hotmail password.the setup was easy.but I wanted to change the signature at the bottom of my emails.I managed to do that and set that a copy of the email will be sent to my bb email add everytime I sent one from my hotmail add.it become very annoying though lol.now I want to change it bt it keeps telling me that I must verify my account information.the address is right so it has to be the password.I have tried everything I think I would use and what I normally use bt it doesn't work.

May 27, 2010When i want to lock my Blackberry curve 8530 i just press the A key. But when i want to unlock, the message shows up to press the MUTE botton. I have a plastic case on it, so everytime I go to press the Mute buton, I have to take the case off. Now my fiance has the same exact phone, and when he wants to unlock, the message says to press the A key with the send/call key.

Jun 2, 2012I was sent a new Blackberry curve 8520 as my old one broke, and am trying to set up my email accounts again. First, I couldn't remember my username/password combination for BIS. I rang my service provider several times and was told that it was nothing to do with them and that only Blackberry could sort out the situation. Well eventually I managed to get in to my email settings and set up two email accounts, however there was still one more I wanted to set up, but when I tried to log in again it wouldn't work! Even though I used the same combination as before. Using my username, I requested my password to be sent to me and it said it was sending but I still haven't gotten anything.

Anyways...So I'm on the Blackberry $40 a month Email and IM plan, great plan! But I want to unlock my new device so I can take advantage of the built-in GPS without having to pay for the data fees. Is this possible? I bought the phone outright so I think I should be able to do this without breaching any contracts. Am I correct in assuming that if I unlock it I won't have to pay for a GPS service with Telus or data fees for using the GPS?

It was freezing up and after hard restart would only go to device locked screen and allow me to switch betwe3en the choices but then would not go to screen i chose. Have downloaded the desktop software and been prompted for the unlock code. Should i have some confirmation code documentation that may have been sent to me, because i cant seem to find any. I just got off of the phone with customer service and was told basically I'm going to lose all my business contacts & personal notes that I entered this morning during my morning meeting and that it's my fault because I didn't back it up! How the heck can I back up my device while during my company meeting? I'm the owner and I have many notes and etc on my device that I put there this morning! Now I lose money because I can't get my information. I'm so ticked off right now! Customer service wasn't helpful at all...he just blamed me for my problem! It gave the instruction to type in "blackberry" and then the password which I did correctly, this is a password I have used since last month so I know I am not wrong. I have been unsuccessful in unlocking the phone but noticed the 4 digits entered now come up in readable characters on screen and not the usual asterix displayed when passwords/pins are entered.
