View 1 Replies View RelatedGuys we all know the conventional ways to free up a little memory. They are:
1) Battery Pull
2) Memory Cleaning
3) Cleaning Cache
4) Delete Event Log
5) Delete Call Log
6) Delete un-necessary messages
7) Delete unwanted applications (games etc)
8) Ensure that only 5 default applications are running in the background
What I would like everyone is to share if there are any other ways to free up further memory in order to make the phone more faster.
I've had a nokia 5220 express music for about a year now, and when I bought it I bought an 8 GB MicroSd card.since the beginning whenever I connect to any PC via the phone the PC showed that the memory card had only 3.4 GB and the nokia PC suite also showed me the same size.
The problem is that when I check the setting of the phone the memory status shows that I have a total of 7.4 GB, also whenever I connect my MicroSd card via a card reader the PC reads and shows that I have a total of 8 GB, until now I didn't mind this problem however now I've almost reached the full capacity and I'd like to fix this problem or bug.
My application memory is getting reduced every day and every 4-5 days i need to restart my mobile then again it come back to original

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe Application Memory in my Options>Memory keeps on decresin as I use the phone. (I didn't download/removed/upgraded any apps). Like I have around 112 mb of free application memory when my phone starts up after a battery pull, and after using it for like 6-8 hrs. the Free space in application memory went down to 72.3 mb :S .This is making my phone real slow. Also, when I restart (battery pull) my phone, the memory goes back up to original 112 mb bt then all f this thing happns all over again. Someone on my prev. thread replied that it was a case of "Memory Leak", and I must wipe my handset to get rid of it. I wiped it, Installed new OS (5.0.0.681) and the problem is still there.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from a 8520 to 9300 and Im having problems with the application memory free space. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
I'm having an application memory/storage problem on my phone. I've deleted unnecessary applications already, but my storage still keeps on going down to 0mb.Then when I restart my phone it goes up max to 18mb and after a few hours it goes down again. I don't know why.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a new laptop (Sony Vaio running Windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook 2010).
I am using the Blackberry 8900 Curve with Vodafone.
Like everyone else, I could not synchronise my blackberry with Outlook 2010 and was told to wait until August for version 6 of Desktop Manager.
I just installed it! But when I tried to launch Desktop Manager is simply says "Blackberry desktop software has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" and then I get " Blackberry desktop software has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".
I un-installed and reinstalled. No change.
Prior to downloading version 6 I had downloaded and installed version 5 with Service Pack - the file name was 501_b049_multilanguage. That one installed and launched but there was NO WAY to synchronise Blackberry Curve 8900 with Outlook 2010!
My PC is brand new and "TOTALLY CLEAN" of any special install. The only application running on this laptop other than Microsoft Windows 7 (32 bit) and Microsoft Office 2010 (including Outlook 2010) are McAfee (which I disabled to ensure this was not the reason desktop manager would not work!) and an HP all in one printer!
IT HAS BEEN A WHOLE MONTH since Microsoft launched Outlook 2010, not sure what the issue is but both Desktop Manager 5 and Desktop Manager 6 have VERY SERIOUS ISSUES which should have been screened through QA.
