BB Curve :: Registered With Wireless Network - Setting Up Personal Email?
Oct 17, 2011
I registered with the wireless network (advanced option/host routing table/register now) and received email stating registered OK. I then went to set up wizard/email set up but there is only the option to: - 'I want to use a work email account....' but nothing to set up a personal email address. I logged onto [URL] to try and register for an account, however I continually get the message 'Cannot create account This Blackberry device is not registered with your wireless service provider...' even though I received a message saying I was registered. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed that Blackberry Internet Service is set up on my monthly contract, they checked the PIN and IMEI number, but nothing worked?
i have got a blackberry curve 9380 ,,and it is not getting registered for the wireless network through host routing tables.i have tried all sorts of methods but still not recieving any confirmation message from the other side.
I wanted to find out if anyone knows where a text that says "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network" would originate. I have Sprint and they said it didn't come from them.
What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?
I just purchased a Curve 8530 and in my set up wizard I only have 3 icons. Most importantly under email set up it only gives me the Blackberry Enterprise Server option. It does not give me a personal email set up option.
My blackberry 9300 wont allow me to set up a personal email account there's only the enterprise activation option what should I do to be able to set up a personal account
I have activated Personal Hotspot with my carrier AT&T. I cannot find Personal Hotspot listed under General>Network setting. I have tried to Reset Network settings but it is still not appearing. I am running an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS 5.1.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, Personal Hotspot does not show up
I am having trouble setting up my personal email. The only option I received after checking the BIS website was this following message: Cannot create account: An account already exists for this BlackBerry® device. Please log in or contact your wireless service provider at 1-800-331-0500.
I just received my Bold 9700 today. Going through the setup wizard, I got to setting up email, but on the first screen it only gives me the Enterprise option. No option to setup personal email.

I have just purchased the curve 8520.... First of all i cant register an e-mail adress, where it asks you to choose an option the only option i have is "I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server"... I have ran a diagnostics test and in the report it says.... Blackberry Registration : No Connected to blackberry : No Blackberry pin-pin : No Could this be an issue? How do i register to be connected to blackberry?
I apologize in advance if I sound like a complete **bleep**. I have a blackberry 8520. My wireless router is Dlink and the security level is WPA. I am unsure how to connect my Blackberry to my personal wireless network. I do not have a lot of data available on my phone because I don't want my mom to have to pay more each month(BTW I'm 14 and even though I've had a Blackberry for three yeas I'm not a genius). When I Scan for Networks, my network pops up. When I click it, a message pops up saying," This wireless router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup. To connect using a PIN(which you Blackberry will generate). click next." When I click next it says," Provisioning Wi-Fi Profiles... Enter this PIN into your wireless router:........" and it gives me a time limit. I'm am unsure how to enter this into my router. In addition, is there a way to just manually add the network? If so, for either way, can someone please give me a step by step on what to do.
i brought a blackberry curve 8520 on orange a few days ago but i cant use the internet and i cant set up an email account because i need to register my BB.i have tried to register it using the my PIN and IMEI but it just says:cannot create account:This blackberry device is not registered with your wireless service provider. Please register this device and vertify that the URl of the current web site matches the one provided by your wireless service provider. To register:1. In the Application list on your device, click options, or click settings options2. Click advanced options > host routing table3. Click the menu key and click register now..If the error persists, contact your wireless service provider...i have registered it by following those instructions then i got a text saying:Your handheld has been registered with your wireless network but it still wont let me create an account!
I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?
I originally put this in another forum before I realized my error. Sorry about that.Anyway, my 8530 often disconnects from my wireless network during the night.Stats:Using Curve 8530, plugged in overnight so it's not a power problem,Free application memory = 94 megs,Software = 5.0 Bundle 1638
Mobile Network = Bell Mobililty (Canadian network) {100% for sure it's not a network problem - others who are on the same network but use a different phone do not experience this problem),Network selection mode = automatic ,Auto on/off = disabled ,Bedside mode = on or off, makes no difference
I cannot have it disconnecting from the network overnight. If there's not a fix, just let me know and I'll use the Curve as a doorstop and get a phone that works.
ok so i found a usb network adapter that would fit my blackberry i knoe that my blackberry dosnt suport wireless internet but is there any way i could use the network adapter to acess the internet. or is it possible to creat a bluetooth modem on my computer and acess the internet via bluetooth on my phone?
After flashing CF-ROOT, TWRP and XtreStoLite (both De and Odexed versions just to be sure)
I am unable to connect to the network. I flashed the modem and bootloader attached on that post (#3) to go back to stock, but still no dice.
Also, maybe unrelated, my touch X-Axis is inverse, which seems to indicate I accidentally flashed the Edge version. So I redownloaded everything and double checked the models, still no dice. The Inverted Screen Fix Can't be run since a message about not being registered on the network shows up.
My father purchased a new Galaxy S6 and it's working flawlessly except for when the S6 is paired (bluetooth) with his car (VW Golf).
When the S6 is paired with the car it can't make any call at all, it says "Not registered on network" but there is no problem making a call from the car integrated control.
Looking at the phone signal status with an app like "Network Signal Info" reports no signal at all (but there is full signal in the status bar), and the car dashboard shows full signal bar.
Now since the car can't handle all the phone contacts (in my father's car case his contact list stops at the M) and since calling a contact with the car control is really clunky, the solution would be to search and call the contact directly from the phone and then talk with the car 's hands free kit but sadly doing this the phone reports "Not registered on network".
I've tried looking under bluetooth setting but nothing seems to solve it (i hate touchwiz btw)
I have the Blackberry Curve 8330.When the battery dies, I plug it in. After I turn it back on i get the symbol in the top right that says "off" which according to the starting guide book says "Your connection to the wireless network is turned off" The only way i can fix this is pulling the battery. Is there a way to get back on after my phone is charged besides pulling the battery??
So I was camping and sprint has horrible coverage in mountains so I should do nothing on my phone. However VZW people were fine. I switched from roaming to normal like 50 times. Is there a way to make it sit on vZW?
I can't make incoming/outgoing calls or send receive SMS on my phone (I get the 'Not Registered on Network' message). Interestingly there is about a 5 second window right after I turn on/off Airplane mode I can send/receive SMS and make a phonecall - the phonecall will last as long as I want, but when I hang up I'm back to square one!I have no data connectivity I can connect to WiFi etc.I have full reception i.e. full bars My phone is not blacklisted (I checked IMEI with network operator)Other SIM card won't work on my phone My SIM card works on another phone When I go into settings to select mobile network I am 'Unable to connect. Try later'i have reset the APN settings
I have a Curve 9360. My supplier is AT&T. This is my work-supplied phone, but I would like to add my personal email. Of course I want to keep the emails separate.I went to Setup>Email Accounts>Internet Mail Account, and was easily able to add my gmail account. Unfortunately, I am not receiving any of my gmail. It looks in the setup like the gmail address is there.
I recently bought a blackberry 8520 curve on prepaid (vodacom).I am having trouble setting up my email address. When I enter the email setup, it doesn't provide an option to set up a personal email account - only one option for blackberry enterprise server. I bought this phone because I need to check my mail on the go quite often and now I can't even get that to work.
I have a Curve 8310, it was with AT&T, but had it unlocked to use with T-Mobile.
When I go through the Set-up Wizard, when I get to Email Set-up, it doesn't give me the option to set up personal email. It only has "Set-up work email through Blackberry Enterprise Service" OR "I want to skip email setup."
I have a data package with T-mobile and the Blackberry Internet package too, so not sure what's going on.
