BB Curve :: Loading Clock Keeps Appearing During Use?
May 28, 2012
So I just ordered a new phone (Blackberry Curve 9300) and the first day or so it was working fine. Afterwards, however, I would unlock my phone to check or send a message and upon unlocking the screen the analog clock load symbol in the middle of the screen would appear. It typically stays on the screen for anywhere between 10-20 seconds but can sometimes last longer - like this morning when I used my phone for the first time today it did it for somewhere around 1 minute. I'm curious if this is a defective phone side effect or something fixable? I haven't put in a memory card and the phone's internal memory isn't very high so could that be it?
Blackberry Curve 3G - OS 6 I How do i fix when loading screen keeps on appearing on my screen eventhough there are no outgoing and incoming messages? I already close some of my apps but it keeps goin on. I usually turn off my phone and take out the battery. would it damage my phone?
My curve is operating really slowly and when I try to open or send a text or open a mail, I get a very small clock icon appear. After about 20 secs, the text or mail opens. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours, even after fully charging.
I made a change on my phone whilst trying to put a lock on some apps, then it said my phone had to 'reboot' so as it said i selected yes. My phone has a loading screen completly white with the clock in the middle, then after a while the screen goes black and a red light apears in the corner, then the white screen with the loading clock starts again!
I just recently got the bb bold 9000 but somehow its seems like almost every function I perform, the clock icon appears in the center and the phone goes all slow. I've got a 1gb memory card and I only used less than 50mb + my app memory I got a lot of free space. Can anyone advise me please?
I play a game called Haypi Kingdom on my phone which is quite addictive. The problem I have however is not with the game itself but with the images it has put on my phone to run itself, they seem to have 'inbedded'into the system on my phone so when for example I go into my camera I have a Haypi symbol on the bar at the top and then when I close it and its between closing an app and going to the main screen or vice versa the Haypi Kingdom shield and sword and severaL motifs appear briefly.I have tried removing the game to get rid of this but it still happens even when its not installed now, its like as if its installed a Haypi Kingdom theme to my phone! I like the game but not so much that I want to see it all over my phone!
So lately, I've been having trouble with my storm running very slow. It does the "loading" graphic, or the spinning clock, or whatever it's called ALL the time. I pop my battery all the time and it doesn't seem to help. And the Storm will do this even when I have barely anything open. For example, at the moment, if I press the menu key, the only programs I have are my browser, BBM, the home icon, message icon and phone icon. That's it. But every time I pick my phone up to do something, I get the loading thing. I tried clearing my browser cache, but that didn't help. I also deleted a bunch of saved y!m message logs and deleted some pics, but still no go. It never used to be this slow, I have Verizon Wireless, and I'm running on V4.7.0.148.
When I got my 9700 it was running smooth. I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. But now, I have not downloaded any new apps and is giving me that clock againg.
ok my tourch 9680 has just turned itself off completly and now resets over and over, the loading bar gets half way through loading then turns off and starts again,
I have just bought a brand-new E5 and i love it. but i noticed something. when i put the standby mode to "Basic" the clock is nowhere to be found. how is this? is there a way (without changing the standby mode screen) to place the clock on the main screen?
I use either Sony clock or digital clock on lock screen. However, it will get changed to analog clock for no reason. Few times already. Changed it back to digital/Sony clock, but it goes back to analog clock after awhile (days). Any way to make the Sony/digital clock to stick?
I have 2 Blackberry Curve 8900's both on the Vodafone network and have installed Blackberry App World on both of them. I have checked the application lists on both of the phones and Blackberry App World is appearing in both of the lists but there is no icon any where for me to click on to open Blackberry App World. Both of these Blackberrys have software version 4.6.1.168 which according to when i click check for updates on desktop manager it is the latest version.
I have read other threads on here and done anything that i have found so far but none of them have worked, i.e: uninstalled and re-installed the app world from different places but still does not appear numerous battery pulls but still don't appear i have tried installing blackberry app world from [URL] on both blackberrys but still it does not appear i have tried connecting my blackberry to my PC and downloading and installing the blackberry app world from my PC's web browser from the above same URL but using the option 'From Your Desktop Computer' but still it does not appear.
Just bought a BB Curve 8520 from a friend of mine yesterday. Now I got a little issue and he doesn't know the solution as well.Yesterday, when I pressed the messages button on the home screen (normal background), the SMS and MMS folder opened. When I had a new message, it directly showed it in the folder..Now since today, when I open the folder, I need to go to the options menu > display folder and then select SMS Inbox before it shows me the new messages. Is it a specific option that I changed that could cause this? It's kind of irritating that I need to go through the menu each time to read new text messages.
I am currently using a Blackberry Curve 9300 3G running os 6 (6.0.0.448) and whenever I download Appworld, it does not appear on my homescreen. This started back when I upgraded BB AppworldPlease be aware,1.I have clicked the "Show all" button and it doesn't appear2. I have checked in all folders. 3. Multiple reinstalations, but no positive results 4. Several Device Reboots/Battery pulls/Factory Restarts were attempted, but no positive outcome 5. When I look under Application Management, Blackberry Appworld (3.1.4.25) IS InstalledIt seems that others are having this problem as well, but does anybody know how to fix this!
My Blackberry Curve is connected to my hotmail (live.co.uk) account. The e-mail account and Blackberry seem to reconcile well except for changes I make to the e-mail account on my PC. These changes are not reconciling with the Blackberry. So, if I read or delete e-mails from the BB, this shows up on the PC. But if I read or delete e-mails on the PC, this is not reflected on the phone. The BB does, however, receive e-mails from this account.I also have another e-mail account connected (Outlook) which is working perfectly.I have searched through the options and can't find anything that looks like it will resolve the issue.
My clock/weather widget is still showing up on my home screen, but I can no longer click on it to get to the clock app with the world clock and the alarms. I can't find the clock app on the phone at all anymore. How do I get it back? I go get a new clock app from the app store, but I really like the HTC sense clock.
I am using blackberry 8900 curve. My fone was going well, but one day my fone was not turning on,then i connect it to charger, and then red light turns on(LED) and it remained on for a while but my phone didn't started and then i see a battery icon with a cross on it on screen. I thought it as a battery problem, and bought a new battery. My fone get on and it ws running effiecintly, but after a week again my fone failed to get start and then again battery icon with a cross on it begin to appear. Now my fone is not turning on and when i connect it to charger then LED turns on for a while and then a battery icon with a cross on it appears. My fone is not turning on.
I am receiving mails, the red action comes on the mailbox, but when I open my mailbox I don't see my mails. I just changed my battery today. Is this because I changed my battery.
When I originate an email from any of my email accounts from my Blackberry my signature shows up just fine, automatically. However, when I reply to a message that was sent to my Blackberry, often times my signature doesn't show up.
Can anyone help me? I've only just got my BB and I downloaded the BBM app, hadn't added any contacts etc yet but this morning for some reason the icon isn't appearing anywhere on the home screen, in any of the folders.I tried to delete the app through "my world" on BB app centre, but it said it couldn't?
I'm trying to access my device memory through mass storage. But when i connect with Mass storage, i can only access the SD-card. This also happens when i go to options -> memory - There i can only see application memory, and media card, but no device memory, like in other phones.
Checking programatically for file:///store/home/user, shows it exists, and i'm able to save files to it. So - How do i get back my device memory ? Any one else experiencing these problems?
I only have my blackberry since April but Today, for no apparent reason, it began to act up. When I turn on my phone, it loads to around 75% and then freezes. I've taken the battery out and replaced it several times. Eash time I do so, it turns itself on (as always) and begins to loads but freezes everytime at the same point in the loading bar.
As the subject sais, when I open the browser, the browser keeps searching the site, of keeps loading. I have been waiting for 10 minutes and on the screen I just keep an empty screen with (after more than 2 minutes) a full blue bar still "loading".I emptied the internet history and cache.A month or so ago I could open sites without any problem. Can it be that my mobile became slower by anything? Can I maybe verify if it has been hacked? Can it have something to do that I configured my e-mail?
I have just been set up with everything on Blackberry Curve 9320. I registered with Blackberry entering a user name and ID and then email address and password. When I try to set up on my phone and enter my email address I have tried the ID name I registered with and also my email password and nothing works. I have now tried 7/10 times. I do not want to try any more in case it blocks anything on my phone.
I have a blackberry curve and it is constantly loading, a square clock symbol appears and wont let me do anything! I can't receive calls, I cant message anyone. My memory is not full and I have deleted msn. Also, when I press any button it takes ages for the light to come on on the screen. I wish I had bought an iphone instead.
my sons curve 9300 takes forever to boot up and when it does there is a small square box in the middle of the screen with a hand in it rotating as if its loading something ,it does this constantly making the phone unuseable.desktop manager tries to connect to the phone but nothing happens.
