BB Curve :: Aol Mails Delete The Mails Permanently
Aug 29, 2010When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.

Sep 15, 2011I have a blackberry curve 9300, and I have linked my yahoo! e-mail so that I can recieve all of my e-mails to my phone. I also have the facebook app which comes with the phone. Now, whenever I get a notification from someone on facebook, the facebook app lets me know and it keeps a copy of it on my e-mails. However, when the time comes to delete all of my e-mails, it deletes everything except from all of the facebook notifications.

Aug 12, 2010But I can forward e-mails just fine. What on earth does that mean? So I receive mail just fine, but when I type up a reply, and go to send, there is no option to send it. I can save it, but not send it. Forwarding works just fine, though. I have re-registered, and I have re-activated, but the problem still exists.

Aug 16, 2010I cannot delete themes from my BlackBerry Curve 8520 (T-Mobile). I have done extensive research on the issue, and have tried many of the methods listed within this forum. However, all have failed.

I have tried removing them through Options > Advanced Options > Applications, however there are no themes listed within the application list. Here are screenshots of my application list:

I have also tried to delete the extra themes using BlackBerry Theme Studio (this is actually the source of the extraneous themes). After previewing several themes on my device, the program's internal 'Manage Themes On BlackBerry...' feature has failed to delete any of them. Screenshot below:

I have also tried to delete the extra themes using BlackBerry Desktop Software (Version 6). However, the themes are nowhere to be found within the application list. Screenshots below:

Prior to using BlackBerry Desktop Software Version 6, I tried Version 5, but the themes still did not show within the application list.
I have tried numerous battery pulls, restarts, software updates, etc. and nothing has worked!

Feb 23, 2011I am aware that there have been issues raised previously and particularly one thread regarding the time delay between deleting emails on the server which remain on the BB.
My problem is an inability to delete emails on the BB. This problem only affects the Gmail email linked to my BB, not the other email accounts. Prior to linking the Gmail account to the BB, I spent time archiving messages from the Gmail account. This was 10 days ago.
So today I ring my carrier (Orange) for advice. They tell me that there are over 3500 messages in the inbox on the Gmail server and that is what is causing my problem. Whilst speaking to them, I was able to look at the server and confirm that there are only a couple of hundred opened messages on the server as far as I am concerned exactly as I expected.
I do have messages in other folders but the sum total is not per Orange's advice. Its worth noting that there are many many more messages on the respective servers for the other accounts for which no problem exists.
