View 1 RepliesI own a GS6. Whenever someone calls me and leaves a voice-mail I usually delete the voice-mail, but the voice-mail ends up not deleting. I've deleted them several times and they've came back.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to record multiple voice-mail's and then switch between the prerecorded voice-mails? Rather than having to record a new voicemail everytime I want to change it?

When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.

I used to be able to access my voicemail. However about a week ago when I went to my voice mailbox, and pressed the message I wanted to hear, nothing happened. So I engaged the speaker butto and still nothing. When I put the phone to my ear, I get Siri asking what I want instead of the voicemail.

When Siri is on, each time I try to listen to my voicemail without going to speaker, Siri overrides the voicemail to beep at me. Is there a way to prevent this without having to go through settings to turn Siri off when I want to quickly listen to a voicemail, and then back to settings to turn Siri back on?

There is a big delay in receiving voicemails - several days - is there a reason for this?

Quite often when I access voicemail on my screen, I hit "Play" the message, Siri opens up. I try and close it down and hit play again and it keeps popping open.I end up having to restart the entire phone. I am also noticing my voicemails are severly delayed in showing up as messages on my phone. Sometimes a few days later it will show i have a vm and when I listen to it, it was recorded 48 hours earlier. This is not consistent but intermittent.

When I updated my phone to iOS 5, I received a message saying my phone couldn't be restored because the backup was encrypted--I had neither requested nor set a password for this encryption. The phone now had none of my information on it, notes, texts, voicemail. I panicked, called Apple, and they helped me find a way to restore the notes from files in iTunes, which is a relief because I'm a writer and had a lot of work in there. However, the phone started asking me for a voicemail password that to my knowledge, I had never set. I tried a few passwords and attempted a few other methods of recovery, all to no avail. So I reset my voicemail password, as all the online literature I could find suggested. However, the "password is incorrect, please enter your password" prompt then no longer showed up. After long deliberation I set up visual voicemail over again, but to my dismay I no longer have any saved messages. At this point I have lost over a year's worth of text messages and voicemails. Some of these were incredibly important to me. I would love to recover all of it if possible, but I particularly care about the saved voicemails. Some of these were from my girlfriend during a difficult time in our lives and I really need them back. I also lost important texts from my girlfriend, best friend, and siblings, but the most important thing is the voicemails. Nothing I'm concerned about is more than a year old, but there are around five or six voicemails I need. No, there is no deleted folder from which I can undelete messages, I know how to do that. My phone is not yet jailbroken but I'm not against doing it if it will allow other methods of restoration to be attempted. I do some coding myself and I'm not daunted by the prospect of sifting around in my computer's files and command line, by the way. I still have all the itunes backups, although half of them are still encrypted with an unknown password.

I just started using an iPhone 5S. My software is up to date.Â
My voicemail seems to work fine as far as people being able to leave messages. However, when I listen to and delete the message, nothing on the phone changes -- it looks like the voicemail is still there. If I go back in and listen to my voicemail, the message is not still there.

Since upgrading to maps a few days ago, I was really impressed, and it's free - even though I had a paid subscription for Maps 2. Today I tried 3.03 in the car for the first time, and found something really annoying: The phone doesn't alternate between voice guidance and radio/CD like it used to, and for that matter all other nav-sat apps do. It is really annoying if you are on a 6 hour trip and the only entertainment you have is listening to the occasional direction from Maps. I there a setting I'm missing, or is this Nokia QC that didn't test the app properly again. The hands-free seems to work fine otherwise; I hope, maybe the new software upgrade broke tee Parrot<->N97 completely.
Others have complained about the older maps having a .5 second cut off waiting for the hands free to "wake up" when a new direction is being announced, obviously this problem is now solved, but I'd rather have a .5 second stutter than listening to wind noise for hours, or switching on Maps every time I enter a town/village and off again when I'm back on the long road.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not receiving any notification of voice-mails.People leave me voicemails, but the Tour doesn't notify me of them. I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I don't get either of these any longer -- not the big notification or even the little icon with the number beside it. I don't know exactly when or why these have stopped. How can I get VM notifications back?
