When I try to download an applications on my blackberry using the PC I receive the following error message " An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again. ". I checked on my blackberry and the encryption (content protection) is disable.

Yesterday I downloaded one of the free App from Blackberry Apps World. When I rebooted my device, I saw a WHITE SCREEN with an error message APPS ERROR 200 - Reset. I resetted the device several times but still get a WHITE screen with the error message.

A few months ago my blackberry decided not to work and so I had to do a full format and re-install and since upgrading to OS5 I have had the problem with purchasing Apps; Downloading free Apps is fine. I have also lost Memopad and can not restore it, but the biggest problem is buying apps.
I have been getting the error message for the past 2 months. I've tried the option of setting via the Advanced Options > TCP/IP > APN and ticking the APN box and typing "Internet", and my App World still gives me the same error message, I rebooted my phone after the setting and tried to access the app world, still got an error message, i tried it without rebooting and the results are still the same. What do I do now?

Verify your internet connection and try again (error30637). I am able to get to Google through the internet browser, so I don't understand why I can't get into AppWorld. View 1 Replies View RelatedIt's been a while since I came here last. I just bought a Blackberry Storm 9530 (it's Telus, but I'm using on Rogers). I love the phone. Everything is working (internet, email, bb messenger, etc), but I am having 2 issues with 2 apps that I have never seen before.
1 - Weathereye - I downloaded the V2 of weathereye for the storm off the proper website http://blackberry.theweathernetwork.com and it downloaded just fine. But I am getting an IOException error HTTP not found when I try to load it. I had removed V1 before downloading this, and I can't figure out why it isn't working.
2 - App World - Downloaded directly from the Blackberry website to the phone. It loads fine and works for a few hours, then I get a (No Ports Found) message. I can't figure out why this error is coming up. As mentioned with both issues, I have tried the internet at the same time and it is working so I am connecting to the network properly - the apps just aren't working.
Anyone else has issues with App World. I am trying to login with my paypal information and it's not letting me, i get an error that tells me to try again later. Anyone else having issues with this after the upgrade? I need to get activation codes for apps i bought through app world but can't get into my account.

My facebook app only loads once in a long while, and my ubersocial app does not load at all. Nevertheless, the web browser and bbm is working fine. My Whatsapp is lagging.
I have used the soft and hard reboots but to no avail.

The site installed a web plugin, after tht i tried connecting my device, the site shows my pin clicking on which my phone gets connected to the site. Than i click to download the new apps software on the device as suggested by the apps site.
