The picture in browsers "add to home screen option" can be edited? When I choose the option it takes a real cheesy screen shot of the site I'm trying to add. It would be great if it would let me choose my own pic for the site or at least pan around the image and choose something other than what it currently shows. I must admit this is a "great" option but it sure needs some tweaking.

It isn't there now for example, so I can only go to pages that are either in my history or my bookmarks. Anyone know why, or have this problem also?

i cant use my internet with my bb bold 9700, i already contact my service provider... they did trouble shooting still i cant use my browswer EITHER wi-fi or network services. how could this be? and 1 more my browser icon is not on home screen even i already "wipe" or reset to factory setting... do i have to download the app again so i can use the internet on my phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia 5530 xpress music mobile - (Christmas present) and was wondering when any new firmware is going to be released; The native browser just closes on its own (sometimes active sometimes inactive) The phone is a little slow loading up and menus (know this may be down to apps etc and memory card) The shortcut icons disappear sometimes from the homescreen (causing a reset to rectify) and when I change them the shortcut on the far right changes itself back to facebook The phone sometimes gets stuck on a white screen at startup which can only be solved by removing the memory card and starting up then reinserting There are a few more minor things but they don't really matter but I have noticed the touchscreen can be quite unresponsive needing quite firm touches or repetitive touches (yes I know some things require double touch) I was also wondering why my phone keeps disconnecting from the wifi source (I have a standard home router) - I know some routes 'refresh' themselves however I don't have problems with my computers or laptops (yes I know its different hardware) Done get me wrong its a good phone, with great features and I am not complaining however I just expected less obvious faults not ones that can cause disruption in normal day-to-day use URL...

one change i noticed on the gingerbread was that i now have limited ability to edit contacts. here's the situation:
I got a new number of a person who was already a facebook contact (because of motoblur syncing my facebook to my contacts). But i go to the contact and select edit so i can add the phone number and the phone says "facebook contact information is not editable on this device." i really dont know what to do.
Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe other day I updated my Quick Pull app. I forgot to reset the times in which i wanted it to reboot. Last night I remembered and set the time. I normally set it for 3, but since it was 3 it wouldn't be able to reboot until this evening. After I was done with my phone, I rebooted it manually by going to the app and clicking reboot. My battery was also low in the red so I stuck the charger in it. When I woke up this morning my phone was dead, if had fell on the floor and the charger came out. I put the charger back in a waited a little while for it to charge. When it came on, it only went to the Cricket screen, but would not go to the home screen. I took the battery out multiple times, I waited patiently, yet my phone is still stuck on the cricket screen.. Is there anyway to reset it so that it can work again?

I have had my recent one for just under 3 weeks and I downloaded a theme for it. It was fine for a day or two but all of sudden started getting really slow. I did the battery pop and from then on everytime it loads up none of the buttons works and my Blackberry isn't responding to anything that I do. It is stuck on the home screen but whenever i press a button the screen lights up again but other than that nothing works. What can I do to either reset my phone or get rid of the theme without going onto my phone?

After sometime it simply went white and displayed 'App Error 523'. I tried hard restarting it several times but to no avail.This has happening several times before, however all those times upon receiving a call the phone started working fine. That didn't work this time either.
