Aug 20, 2011i've had my blackberry for 5 months now and bbm has always worked fine up until the other day, it randomly stopped sending messages, it will send one every now and then but usually just shows the clock icon for hours, I tried deleting bbm from the core applications and re-installing it but i'm still having the exact same problem but now i can't see anyones display pictures. I can still recieve messages fine though

Since I updated the BBM I can not send or receive messages, this update is a disaster, Due to the fact that I'm traveling, I do not have the roaming services and have been using BB services via WIFI and Now I can“t connect to the BBM at all.I need help because I am very upset with this update. Sep 24, 2012I have a blackberry curve 9380. I don't use BIS plans, I just use our dorm wifi (public) connection. The wifi works fine with viber and facebook apps and it works with internet browsing, but I can't send messages using Whatsapp. I am not receiving friends' messages either. When I check my account status for Whatsapp, it says, "Your account type could not be determined. The most common explanation is that you have not been able to connect to the server yet."

May 19, 2012My BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.

Jan 16, 2010Does anyone have problems sending photos using text messages?? Sometimes people receive them and other times they do not. I have one person that has an iphone and she can never receive a photo from me but yet she can send them fine. I just had someone send me a photo just now and I was trying to forward it to everyone on my contact list and it would not send it. Very frustrating. I never had this problem on my other phones.

Feb 17, 2010I just did a really stupid thing!!! I was playing around with bitpim because I have never used it before.. I have now deleted my whole address book! I had over 200 contacts in it. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. Jun 11, 20121) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.

May 20, 2012one Message/iMessage conversation I have on my iPhone... So here is the deal. I have sent a few iMessages to a person but some of them have been sent as SMS text messages, probably because of bad network. Anyway, all of them have been read (that is what the read receipts account) and yet the line on the top of the screen says 'Sending...' ! But there is nothing to send anymore!
I've already tried quitting the app and turning my phone off/on and since I would like to keep that conversation, I'm not really keen on deleating it.
