I'll try to explain the best I can what is happening with my bb. When I want to Take a picture the screen goes Black and wont let me do it, once it also said that I had to close the other apps to take a pict. I switched it off twice and nothing happened then took off the battery and nothing

For the first 2 or 3 weeks all pictures I took I could find them in Pictures. Now I either have to take the battery out in order to see them or I click on Pictures - Menu - Explore - Device Memory - home -user - pictures - and there they all are, but I can only view one picture at a time.

I have had my phone around 4months now and it has always worked fine.About 2days ago a recived an error when trying to upload pictures "Can not connect to server " i get either error 100 or 1502.I have tired doing a battery pull and uninstalling facebook and re-installing it but nothing is working.

When I do that on that blackberry noting appears. I can pick up a phone call with the green phone button but I cannot call myself. In all other programm's the key work fine.

But when i went to "All Pictures" i was unable to delete the pictures in there , it said this is a "Read Only File".

But when I hook it up again to check in the media card if it is not really there anymore yet apparently they are still save in the card. So, I can just view my songs and pictures on the computer but not in my phone. What should I do to view them back in my phone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I have a media card and I have some pictures stored on the device and a majority of them stored on my sd card. When I click on media and then pictures the folder is completely empty and there is nothing there. If I highlight pictures and click explore and then find my pictures it shows that they are on the sd card and it shows that some are stored to the device memory. I can't open the files because the names have been changed to a .al format. Also my pictures folders even when I click explore, are hidden. I try to uncheck the box that says hide so they will no longer be hidden but it doesn't let me. Howw can I get all my pictures back to normal so I can see them when I click on media and pictures?

I still have the same ringtone and text message alert message. I took out the memory card and put it back in and it's still the same. When I put in the data cable to view online I am getting a checked arrow next to the blackberry and cant access anything.

I can see the wifi networks when i use the setup wizard, but after it trie to connect, i get this " - " symbol against my wifi ( in the wifi options). The wifi SSID is recognized and i face this same issue across all the wifi networks i tried to connect. I am currently using the T-mobile prepaid card. I cannot browse the internet and i feel really bad that blackberry has this wonderful device which cannot perform a basic function like wifi connectivity easily.
Kindly help me, as i really need the wifi connectivity. As a student the data plan seems too expensive.
I have a curve 8520 and i'm trying to connect it to my computer using an usb cable. But everytime i connect it nothing happens but my phone charges. I've tried re-installing desktop manager several times and i've changed the options in the 'memory' menu but nothing works. I know there is some connection between my phone and my computer because it charges, but no message pops up (I've read somewhere that a message should pop up about mass storage).

This is a work phone and my colleague who has exactly the same Curve 8520 IS able to check in on facebook places with no problem at all. I do not believe that this is a "GPS" issue. I paired my husbands Torch 9800 to my curve via bluetooth and it now allows me to set location setting to the ON position but still am not able to check in.

I've looked everywhere and even used "show all". I've uninstalled and installed again, I tried to install from my blackberry instead of installing it from my computer and it doesn't appear. However, when I go to Options>advanced>applications it's there. What's wrong? I've been looking all around and I just don't get it.

If i connect the headphones it only rings when the music player is on. If i stop the player is not ringing again, only vibrates. I know the menu very well and is all set to the right parameters. I've bought a new housing complete and i'm waiting to have it delivered next week because 99% i think is the speaker.

I get it and the track pad doesn't scroll. I can still use it to click on an icon but I just can move it. I work in Afghanistan and I can't mail stuff outta the base i work at. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 running BB OS 5. Recently the default BB browser will not load pages. After navigating to any page the loading bar at the bottom of the screen will fill up but when it is fill the browser will display a blank page. I installed Opera Mini on the devise and it opens up and displays all web pages fine. I have tried removing the battery and re inserting it without success. I am also unable to reinstall the browser from the BB desktop app. Is there any way to fix this issue without reintalling the OS from scratch?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a curve 8520. when she tries to use the browser to sign in to yahoo email she fills in her userid and password but the sign in button dosn't work, nothing happens when she clicks it does she have to enable something in the browser configuration? she doesn't have a Blackberry data plan as yet so we realise she can't use BBM or facebook app etc but I would have thought the browser should work as she has an internet plan.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWell i noticed when i got a call from my gf the picture came up using her fb profile pic which was always so blurred! So I remember changing it to another picture and selecting it to show up as the caller id picture and to overwrite anything that would change it.
However now , it also changes her bbm picture and it would not change even if she changes it herself now her bbm picture is stuck as well.I forgot where i went to change this overwrite picture setting...
Anyone else think the speakerphone on the 8530 has a muffled sound compared to the 8330? Its loud, but to me doesn't sound as clear. I noticed an option for enhanced audio. I wonder if that makes a difference....

I have had my blackberry for over a year and have had no problem until about a month ago. I redid my 6months blackberry internet booster like usual, but when it had been activated, none of my apps will work and none of my emails come in. My browser still works like usual though. I have phoned t-mobile up but they keep saying everything is correct and to just keep restarting my phone. i have been restarting it by doing the battery reboot about 3 times a day for the last month. I still cant use my apps. I phoned them again and they said blackberry was down aand it would come back in the next few days. No-one else i no has this problem. What can i do?
View 3 Replies View Related I bought two new blackberry 8520 from ebay from different sellers. One unbranded and unlocked, the other branded and locked to Vodaphone. The unlocked one works fine with my tesco sim, no problems. The branded/locked to Vodaphone one was unlocked this morning with a code I paid for and got off the internet and not through Vodaphone. It now shows the phone is disabled and it recognises the Tesco sim (although still branded), but all calls and messages fail when sent and if I try to ring it it goes straight to voicemail.
Is it the phone or the sim? The phone was an unwanted gift so the seller is not sure if the phone's pin was registered. Tesco have asked vodaphone to release the pin which will happen in the next 24-48 hours but will this make any difference? Some of the forums with the same query as mine seem conflicting, i.e. release the pin to get access to BBM and internet but not a direct problem with calling and texting.
