BB Bold :: Unable To Download Certain Apps On 9930?

i just switched from a 9360 to a 9930. i was trying to re-intsall the applications that i have downloaded before (such as facebook twitter and whatsapp), but there are a few applcations that just refuse to load. the app world would pop up "There was a problem installing ----application name-----. please try again. "
i've tried to use the app world on the pc with the web app plugin on chrome, IE and firefox but non worked and i recieve this error message "An unknown error has occurred (EC )"screen muncher - now with bbm

BB says we can download apps for the interruption but.... with the bold 9900 for example the Shazam app does not even exist...Linked in.... does not exist either. When will bb ENABLE these apps. You can easily say hey we are going to offer free apps.. that are not downloadable!

Some of the apps I've downloaded onto my new Bold 9930 with OS7 cannot be moved because the menu that allows me to move the app is missing. When I highlight the app in the"All" view and click on the BlackBerry button, no menu appears. It's as if the key is dead and totally non-responsive. This only happens to some of the apps I've downloaded and it doesn't matter the source. Some were from Appworld and some were downloaded from other sources. With the other apps, a menu with "Switch Application" at the top appears when I press the BlackBerry button. The "problem" apps are working ok in every other way and I've tried removing them and re-downloading them, but that did not solve the problem.

When I tried loading the software, it say unable to connect to JVM, did every step available online and it does not work. I am from South Africa and they say I need to get a swop out phone from U.S RIM as is was from a faulty batch?

I've trying to use the Blackberry Desktop Software but when connecting my 9930 to the PC with a USB cable, the PC doesn't recognize that the phone is connected. It does charge the battery though.

I have a bit unussual problem, I can NOT download any app from Blackberry App World. When I select any app and 'click' 'Download' I'm asked to accept 'Blackberry App World and Blackberry Payment Service Addendum To The Blackberry ID Agreement' and after accepting I see 'Please Wait" icon for few seconds but after that nothing happens at all.

New & in need of help.September 09 purchased a Curve 8900 for my daughter (14yrs) carrier is T-Mobile.

Am I correct that she need to download "BlackBerry App World" first? Assuming that this IS the case I tried this but we get an error message stating her device is not compatible??
software is 4.2.0.127 if that helps any? Internet access is via the home network only, this works fine as far as we know.

There appears to be a issue again using iOS 3.1.3 which I have on my original 2G Iphone trying to download new apps from the Appstore.
Just to be clear, iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version that can be installed and be supported on the original Iphone 2G (can't update the iOS to a later version).
If you try to download/install a new app from the App Store using iOS 3.1.3 and click on the install button, it turns green and does not do anything. If you have an existing app using iOS 3.13 and there is a update for the app, then the install might download. This isn't a problem with the device needing to be restored, it is a problem with a some change Apple did on their end to the AppStore thats not compatible with iOS3.1.3.
This happened before back in Dec 2011 and it took a few weeks to get Apple to admitt it was their problem and install a fix at their end for the App Store for iOS 3.13. The Apple support people kept on telling everyone to try to restore your device which was a waste of time.
