The screen on my bb has strange color lines on it. When I try to scroll, I get patches of color and can't use any application. SOmetimes the screen just goes blank. Anyone know if theres a place to have someone look at it? The warranty has passed to ATT won't touch it.

A color coding system would be ideal, where messages from one email would be a different color or something.

i have BB bold 9000. i want to make the keypad on my bb with multiple colors as in the first line of alphabets white.then the next line of alphabets black so on and soo forth. is there a way to do. or am i stuck with the keypad that i have for now.

Can I do this on the 9700, or is there a 3rd party app for this? I have BeBuzz, but this isn't useful when I'm in messages reading multiple emails from several servers.

I have an app which means I can change the colours, but the thing I have set to this colour is texts and I definately don't have a new text. My LED is turned off for Bluetooth and I don't know what else it could be! It's been flashing for over 12 hours now!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI found it out! You have to dismantle the phone, though. Walkthrough:
1) Remove the bottom plate with the branding (use guitar pick, small flat screwdriver, etc)
2) Remove and save warranty sticker in case the phone actually breaks.
3) Remove the two small screws on either side of the phone.
4) Using a guitar pick, small screwdriver, or case-opener tool, start on the sides of the phones slightly below the convenience keys and move down towards the bottom. On the bottom, there are three small clips that WILL NOT BREAK NO MATTER WHAT. Disconnect them. Then remove the keypad top first.
5) Slowly slide the pick/driver/tool from the bottom edges of the phone up until the volume rocker. One tab on each side should pop, but they are difficult. Take your time.
6) Grip the sides of the bezel and slide upwards. The top cover should come off along with the back chrome bezel (the one above the camera).
7) The phone will now appear very basic with only the trackpad and screen recognizable. On the white lower portion, several small, rectangular LEDs can be seen.
8) Use a preferred color of sharpie to color a large clear piece of packing or scotch tape, and cut it into 2mmx2mm squares.
9) Place one color square over each LED. Reassembly
10) Insert the keypad into the bezel bottom first, making sure that the screw tabs for the keypad are underneath the screw tabs in the bezel.
11) Holding this configuration, slide the bezel on top first.
12) Make sure the hole for the trackpad and the trackpad itself line up, this will assure you that the keypad is in right. Also look at the "frets" in the keypad.
13) Push on the bottom of the bezel until you hear at most three clicks (the three tabs locking back into place)
14) Run your fingers along the side with pressure to make sure that you snap in the single tab on both sides of the phone.
15) Insert and screw in the two small screws you took out before.
16 OPTIONAL) Put back the warranty sticker on the ORIGINAL side that it was on before.
17) Snap the carrier plate back into place.
18) You're done PICS TO FOLLOW

I have read various topics on this, solutions never got me further than 20mb. This issue makes my device go really slow firends have more than 5 apps and their device runs fine.

I removed my battery like 3 times and and restarted it, it is still there. The application says "tweeting" under it. I even restored it and the problem still exists. I try to open it, and it just takes me to the home screen. It is really killing my battery. Please let me know ASAP because i need to close that app now.

View 7 Replies View Relatedsomething is killing my bb battery , it hardly lasts for 8 idle hrs and the same battery on another bb will last for around 2 days if not used too much , I had initially installed quite a few apps and thought maybe this was the reason for the weak battery , so i deleted all the apps and still the same . I dont have any apps other than the normal ones running in the background.
another thing is that my bb keeps hanging , esp while locking and unlocking Its like there is a bug or a virus on the bb I also dont see the name of the person calling when the phone is in the holster but when it is out it shows .....

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy application memory always comes down to 5-7 mb within a days usage(after hard re-boot, taking out battery stuff). I have only downloaded FB application and google maps. maps I use occassionaly while FB is always on. I have deleted all games but it doesnt help. Once application memory falls below 10mb handset slows down.
