The only thing I can access in my BB are messages and calls. If I try to open anything else it freezes.
EG - Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_toolkit(294) is not responding; process terminated Uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_clock(172) is not responding; process terminated
I can't do anything with it at all, feel like firing it against the wall. The alarm won't go off and I can't go in to change it.
I've been checking it and unfortunately it looks like that the 9900 device doesnt allow you to set any exceptions when setting a profileFor example, I'd like to set the phone on "silent" profile at night, creating an exception for my partner. Why can't you do that? It's a really useful option.

So what has been happening happening over the past month or so is the device starts to lock up and not respond for up to 40 sec then corrects itself. Other times I will get an uncaught error or exception error. I have to keep pulling the battery out and resetting the device about 3 times a day at least.

Next, weird errors like: uncaught exception: padding byte is out of range. After that, I could not connect to the internet. It just said "Requesting". I tried numerous battery pulls, registering the host routing table and a security wipe of the entire phone. My phone basically says I don't have a data plan and I don't even have the option to setup personal email on my phone. Currently, I can connect via browser but can't BBM or use any apps that require large amounts of Data.

I can connect it with my Ford Sync once and then after that the phone thinks it's still connected, even with the car shut off and with the bluetooth turned off. If I receive a call, the bluetooth asks if i want it routed to the handset. I cannot make any phone calls either. The party I am calling gets hung up on and on my end, I hear nothing. Taking the battery out and restarting the phone will give me one more cycle of this. If I try to then connect it a second time in the car, the car says my phone is unavailable. I know that it it App World for the following reasons:
1) Absolutely no changes have been to the phone.
2) App World loads when the phone is rebooted (battery removal and replaced). However, when it is selected it will not display.
3) When I uninstall the application the error goes away.

I used the device switch wizard to switch from a Bold 9700 with OS5 and a fair number of apps installed. I used app world to delete everything that was not a Research in Motion created app, rebooted, then cleanly reinstalled a subset of the 3rd party apps. The error persisted even when only RIM created software was installed.How do I determine which application is throwing this error? I tried looking at the system log, the error is there but with no detail as to which module or app is causing it.
