I have just received a replacement handset from my insurance policy.
I backed my old handset up before I sent it off.
Does anyone know how I can retrieve my contacts and sync all the data from my old one to the new one? I have tried to switch devices but it is asking to connect the old phone which I obviously don't have...
I bought a Bold about 25 days back and it has a few issues so far, but this one worries me.I have a lot of info on my media card, and now it says the card has errors and wants me to format. It doesn't matter if I sick the micro SD into an adapter or try to connect my 9700 through a USB, how can I retrieve all my data, and than format? It is a 16GB Kingston HC media card.How do I avoid the format and retrieve my data? Appreciate your help. I did not experience this issue until a few days back and I tried the battery pull mechanism, which only reset the phone.

So does anybody know of an easy way to sync my contacts FROM my blackberry TO my gmail contacts? I have google sync on my phone, but that only messed up my contacts by dumping a bunch of duplicates into my BB contacts and it doesnt seem to reverse sync. I have since deleted my gmail contacts so I dont suffer this fate again, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to reverse sync from BB to gmail.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi have been tryinbg to sync my contacts with my outlook. i have nearly 400 contacts on my bold and when i plug in to blackberry desktop and sync my contacts, it only says 30 contacts to sync. I thought maybe it was my bb desktop/outlook. i downloaded google sync and tried to sync that way. doing that on my phone still only recognizes 30. i went thought all my menus on my phone trying to see if the 30 contacts that sync have something selected that the others dont. It seems so weird, the contacts that sync have nothing in common.

When I restored the phone to the 'most recent' back up, I lost ALL the data on my phone after Nov 20, 2011. All my texts, all the data about my baby that I have been keeping in a baby app - basically any app info. Even my camera roll reverted back to the way it was on Nov 20. (fortunately I had saved my pics to iphoto - so nothing really lost there)
I don't understand where all the info went when I backed up RIGHT before I went to the apple store.
I have looked on my computer and found the back up file, but I don't know what to do with the info in there. Oddly, I can't find a back up for 4/2/12 - the day I did the back up, but there are several back ups in March.. which would be better than the NOV back up.
