I accidentally "cut" pictures from my blackberry and in a panic, tried to copy them back on. They aren't displaying and I can't seem to recover them...any suggestions? I tried a recovery app but it doesn't recognize them because they're encrypteCan I un-encrypt them and then recover them??
View 1 RepliesI accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

When I go into the media and pictures folder and go under all pictures, I have photos that I have already deleted that still come up there as thumbnails, but when I click on them, I am unable to view the pictures. However, when I go to picture folders, I don't see them anymore.
The problem is, I don't want to see those pictures that I have already deleted! It always says this file is marked as read only are you sure you want to delete them, I always click yes and it's not working, I went to properties to try and see if I could unmark them as read only or something but the only option is hidden. I tried opening it as a usb drive but those thumbnail pictures don't show up.

Some time ago an daily recurring Outlook calendar entry was deleted, but it still shows on my BB calendar. When I delete this recurring entry from my BB it comes back one day later. I therefore want to reset my calendar, but when I connect via BB Desktop Mgr it does not allow me to delete my calendar entries. I do not know what to do anymore and I find it rather frustrating to delete the entry every day or leave it in my BB calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have deleted 4 pictures in the gallery app from the sdcard/pictures directory. I exited the gallery and returned some time later and ther is now a seperate album showing 4 pictures with no thumbnail and the won't open. These blank pics have the same file names as the ones deleted and are stored in the same directory. Getting info on these pics shows the original file size and name, but with a resolution of 0x0 and they can't be opened. Exploring the sdcard/pictures directory with file explorer does not show the 4 files in question.
Update- I shut down my Xoom and restarted. Launched the Gallery app. The blank picture album appeared momentarily and then disappeared.
i copied pics from ALL to ALBUM's new folder and then deleted the same pics in ALL folder but automatically all the pics in new folder got deleted.
normally in all nokia phones this method works without any prob.

I do not see a "photo" option in the left selection pane under my device name. There is a "Photos" option across the top of the upper pane. When I select it I get the option to sync photos from a folder or folders of my choosing. This allows me to sync pictures from a folder but if I want to delete the picture from my PC folder once sync'd it also deletes the picture from my iPhone upon the next sync.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had about 10 GB of photos on my iPhone and the iTunes backup kept getting errors. So I plugged in my iPhone, browsed to it in Windows Explorer, and copied the folders inside DCIM to my PC. I then change phones and copied the photos back into the DCIM folder on the new phone. They show up fine on my new phone. Now, this 2nd phone is having issues and I want to copy the photos back to my computer to copy to another new phone. If I open the DCIM folder, I see a bunch of files called Local Disk and only about 60 photos (new photos I took with the phone), and none of them are the photos that I copied onto the phone earlier. I did an iTunes backup without errors, but it only backed up those 60 photos. It's like Windows and iTunes don't even see the other 10 GB of photos, even though I can still see them on iPhone.Â
How can I get these photos copied off my iPhone to my PC?

I have 958 photos on my N8 taken from a trip to Europe. These photos are all organised into albums and tagged depending on which country they were taken in. The problem now is when I sync them to my computer Ovi Suite ignores the Albums and the Tags and groups them all together.how I can sync the photos so they remain in the Albums?Surely there is a way to do this otherwise what is the point of being able to sort into albums on the phone if when you copy them to PC they all get mergedI can't now go through 958 photos trying to remember where each one was taken.Unfortuantely the N8 also only groups the photos by the month they were taken (All were taken in the same month) copying them without ovi suite is also problematic.
