I have recently changed providers and some -tho not all- of my international numbers (both mobiles and home phones) will not connect. These numbers are all from the same country, one mobile I can txt but not call. Is there a setting for this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 5 phone is running Android 6.0.1, but shortly before that, I switched from a T-Mobile Prepaid plan to a postpaid plan and then, immediately back to a prepaid plan again. The thing is that I had a $30/month prepaid plan which is not available as a postpaid plan. But no one told me. They just said that I was eligible for a postpaid plan after 18 months. Of course, I jumped right back when they wanted to charge me $50/month. So that is what caused the texting trouble.

All the contacts names and phone numbers are accurately displayed when viewing, but only the numbers appear when a text or call comes in. How do i get the contact's name to appear as before? There are no duplicates or international pre-fixes to confuse things for the phone, and everything was fine on the old phone.

Example let's say I am calling my doctors office. Their recorded message will say" press 1 for refill press 2 for nurse press 3 to schedule an appointment. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9700. Most call screening apps will block all numbers, allow contact list only, etc .. I need to block all calls but only allow 4 select numbers from my contact list. (I work night shift and I only want to accept calls from my kids, husband, and school).
"iberry blacklist/whitelist" is apparently supposed to do this but I installed the trial, not working properly and then I realized it doesn't support my bb.
Whilst on a call this morning my phone randomly called Orange answer phone and put my original call on hold, I cancelled the answer phone call and went back to original then within the next minute the original call went quiet and I heard the ringing tone and discovered it was randomly calling a number (it was not a saved contact and I had to go through history later to see where it had come from and found it was a call I had received last Saturday - so not even a call in recent history) I have no speed dials set up - I did double check this! When prompted I did the latest upgrade last week to v7.1 bundle 1149(v7.1.0.342 - platform 5.1.0.276) and was pleased was prompted to do this as it included the update to wifi calling which I need in certain areas though I didn't have it enabled today.

View 1 Replies View Relatednew to blackberry in general. have the bold 9700 and mostly have it on silent so i rely heavily on the red led blinking to signal a missed call. i could have sworn this was always the case cause a vm would generraly acompany the call. the other day the light was green so i thought i was good but in fact i had missed an important call. is this the way it is or is there a setting to have the led blink red with a missed call just like a message.

I have secured my Email access via iPhone.
For that I set it up to use my email servers internal hostname (not know on the public net). Due to that i have to open a VPN tunnel everytime I want to exchange mails.
Is there a way with the iPhone Configuration Utility (or else) to set up a profile that automatically opens the VPN when the host is called?
