Jul 13, 2011I have the following problem with my Nokia 3710 fold. What I press the headset button short the phone tries to make voice dialing, i.e. it listens to some word said and tries to make a fit from my phonebook and then dial it. The problem is that this button is pressed accidentally and then the phone hears some noises and find a "match" - which is basically picking one of the names stored in random - the result is a phone call to some people that I saved their number years ago leading to embarrassing results. I tried to disable this feature. I couldn't. Any feature of the phone can be turned off except this one!! I don't want voice dialing enabled what can I do!

I set up the mailbox and automatic retrieval but unfortunately the phone will not retrieve emails unless it is manually connected to mailbox and when it is it drops connection every 20-35 minutes. I have the mailbox update interval set to 6 hours but it won't retrieve them unless the connection to mailbox is active. Jul 19, 2012I purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

Oct 25, 2010I discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.
