Asha 30/40 Series :: Nokia 5130 Xpress Music Won't Start
Nov 15, 2011Maybe this was posted already but i couldn't find it so here goes.My phone was turned off for like 2 weeks,and then i charged it and tried to start it it vibrated(like usual),the nokia blue letter logo showed and then it just stopped,the keyboard lights didn't light on and it just kept showing the logo.After 2 minutes the logo dispeard and the screen was white and only white.

May 24, 2012Another problem seems to have appeared on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. When I transferred some songs to my phone, When I refreshed the music library, everything is gone. Although, the songs can still be seen in the File Manager. I have tried reformatting twice and still the same.

Everytime i go on the music player, it automatically searches for Music and Podcasts. Jul 19, 2012I purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

May 12, 2012Is it possible to use the contact sync with the Asha phones (302, 303, 200, 201, 300, etc.)? I am unable to see the option and under synchronisation and backup I am being asked to enter server details etc. which I don't have.

May 4, 2010I have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
