I would like to know the best video resolution as supported by the default player in 303. I wanted to convert the movies into a compatible resoultion so that it wont stuck or lag.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wonder if it is possible to change maximum video capturing resolution (programmably) from 640x480 @30fps to lets say 720x480 @ 25 fps (720p would be beyond my expectations anyway). I guess there should not be any dramatic quality drop because of 5 fps, but the quality of picture will be somewhat better - similar to DVD resolution.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been able to set a streaming solution through VLC to my nokia device and can stream netTV, movies, DVD discs, webcam from my personal PC. Through the tests, i've found that the maximum resolution is width=352, height=288 which is 11:9 aspect ratio. Of course i can set 16:9 ratio which again has the limitation of the width=352. Every pixel above 352 makes the nokia response in "Unable to play video clip".So obviously there is some limitation in the resolutions through live streams. When i play a video from the Memory Card, 640*360 is supported without a problem.The problem is, that i have access to several streams , which are live TVs and i can watch only those, that are below 352 pixels wide. Those that are in resolution 448*336 don't play, although the format and the codecs of the stream are the same as with the 352*288.So, is there a way , that i can remove these limitations, or at least allow the Real Player to play streaming links with higher than 352 pxls width?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAs Nokia seems to have changed the model for licensing, I can't be the first person to think of simply creating a free downloadable license with an expiration date in 2099 specifically for those of us running 3.01 on E* that aren't yet on the compatibility list. The app runs fine, but I don't get little voices because of the license renewal issue that I've not enjoyed (in the US) previously. Perhaps I'm underestimating the difficulty of doing that, or perhaps 3.01 doesn't know how to do date math beyond a year.

My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOne week ago i just bought the nokia N900 with the latest firmware 3.2010.02-8 with maemo 5 installed.I played around with the device and its quite amazing on how this thing can do so much as a small computer but a little thing can do as a phone mobile.
i'm a little bit dissapointed about N900 as a phone mobile, because some of the features not support or i don't know why, for example :
1. first came the N900 don't supported FM radio, but when i download application FM Radio now my N900 can be used for FM Radio
2. N900 don't fully support mms, but there is a tutorial on this forum on how to use mms in N900 using fMMS
3. N900 don't support our local telecomunication dialing pattern such as ( *.....# )
4. N900 don't support Video Call, this is something that N900 very disappointing. All N series can do video call and also there is a front camera.
5. Is the N900 fully support in maemo 6 ( meego )..?
I really hope that The Nokia team can do about this issues, especially for video call which i or even a lot of people using it.
