Sep 21, 2015I was on my phone the other day and needed a copy of a pdf page to email. I was told to place a finger on the top and bottom of the screen but it wouldn't work. Is that the correct way or was I doing it wrong.

Jun 23, 2012When viewing a photo over around 950 KB in my applications, the iphone will attempt to open it, and then close. This means I can't "save" the photo, can't view the photo, and all I can see is the thumbnail. So my solution was to directly export the photo through the e-mail feature built into the app. It worked for the first photo I downloaded to my iphone, and I managed to successfully send the photo to me through e-mail. I can't view it on my iphone, but since I downloaded it, it was on my iphone so I could send it.
I downloaded more photos (they sent multiples), and the file size is now over 10 MB total and I can no longer e-mail the attachments to myself. The photos have to be somewhere on my iphone, but I don't know where. I don't want to view them on my iphone, I simply want to transfer them to my computer. I'm using an iPhone 3g and I have no idea where to access these photos, or where they're saved at in my iPhone.

In fact, the smartphone, from the beginning, showed different annoying problems, like:
- It shuts down randomly, when I press the home button to turn on the screen. Before it shuts down, the screen shows some weird horizontal grey lines for a couple of seconds;

Jun 17, 2014Whenever I use the camera app or view snaps on snapchat the bottom of my 4S screen flickers and jumps.
When on the camera the top of the camera app which normally has flash settings, HDR mode and switch camera stays on the top and moves to the bottom and the screen flickers but it only happens on the rear facing camera when I change to Front Facing Camera it goes fine and then on snapchat when I view stories and snaps it does the same thing and on the camera.

Mar 20, 2014I bought this 16gb nexus 5 D820 a little over 2 months ago and had no problems with it whatsoever until this noon, when i was just browsing the 'net as usual, my phone became warm, i thought it was normal since i checked cpu-z it said it was 45 degrees and normal, cool..i kept on browsing till it rebooted by itself twice, still no problem,cool. since it was running low on battery i charged it and upon finishing the screen looks like this now, apart from it, everything else still works though.
I thought it was software issue since i didn't crack the screen, nor did i drop it, i was on purity + hellscore then. i flashed google factory image, unroot it and locked the bootloader again making it look as if it was just taken out of the box, but to no avail, it still looks like this up until now. I guess the heat somehow broke the lcd's component..

Sep 21, 2011I know from what I read on the forums that the camera and video have some issues. I wish I would have read this before getting rid of my revolution but I needed actual use of my phone and not constant rebooting and a nice camera.This is something I noticed last night when recording a clip of our new puppies. While recording at default setting the screen would keep flickering black approx every minute or so. I thought maybe it was due to a low battery and never thought that is was actually being transferred into the video itself. When I played the video back on my computer though, I noticed that it was recording that way and it was not just a simple timeout of the screen as I once thought.
I tried the next day with both camera and video on a FULL battery and got the same results. It seems like this may be linked to the autofocus problem/bug I have been reading about. I checked and cleaned the lens too just to make sure that nothing was causing the cam to focus in and out all the time.Wondering if anyone else is having these problems or is it just me. If so has anyone found a correction or app that can fix these issues while waiting for an / if any / for motorola.The cam and video can take decent photos if the subject is sitting still with no problem, however try taking a baby or puppy running around and no luck at all.Any internal settings that anyone has found that can control the auto focus time or an app that can change it?

Jan 21, 2016I recently switched from iPhone and one thing that is bothering me about my android phone is the lock screen real estate. I have this big screen and 90% of the screen is taken by the clock and unlock feature. Notifications get a small band and stack on each other.
Problem being while I'm away if I get 3 text messages, a phone call, and some other alert all I see is a stack of notifications but I can't read them.
On the iphone if you turn the screen on you actually read what happened and decide right away if you care enough to unlock your phone and respond. With this new phone I always have to unlock to see what the notifications actually are about and if I care or not.

Dec 13, 2010I've just bought the E5 and I have a problem: when I look at the screen from an angle slightly to the right, it looks perfect, only a little brighter; however, when I look at the screen from an angle slightly to the left, I can read nothing on the screen, because it gets very dark. Is anyone else facing this or is there a problem with my device? Shouldn't the viewing range be symmetrical? Why my screen's viewing angle is wide from one side and extremely narrow from the other?

The menu buttons disappear and that space is used for viewing more of the image. The Gallery and Photos apps do not do this. Both of those apps keep part of the screen reserved for the menu button bar. Any picture viewing app which will allow a full screen slideshow similar to the way Hangouts uses the full screen?
