i'm trying to add a playlist and do not have a "done" button in the screen where i'm adding songs. In fact, I can't cancel it either and the music app is stuck in the create playlist mode. the only options i have are to go to the store, go to now playing and the options listed on the bottom (playlists, songs, artists, etc.)Â
Haven't tried to do this for a while but was trying to compile a playlist on my iPhone (4s, ios5.1.1) with just podcasts on it to listen in the car on a long journey. The music app doesn't give you the option of podcasts in the categories, just music. Used to be able to do this in my 3G.
I looked on my Ipod Touch 4th Gen just the other day and found that instead of all my playlists like recently added, top rated, etc.all i had was a created playlist I made, 'On the Go' playlist, and Purchased playlist.
How to add a playlist folder to your iPhone manually so the music can be organized in separate folders (playlists). It's supposed to be simple and intuitive in Apple but I spent few hours trying to figure it out in my iTunes/searching in internet a solution; I have new iTunes 11.2.2.3Â (June 2014) version and a standard PC.
Is it possible to rename a playlist directly on an iOS 7 device? I see tips about creating a new playlist, naming it a new name, then adding all the songs from the previous playlist, and finally deleting the old playlist. That seems less than convenient. Â
Is there a way to do it in iOS 7? If not, does iOS 8 offer any improvement in this area?
A friend and I are trying to get rid of playlist that we did not create and they are interfering with the playlist we did create. To much clutter. Is it possible to get rid of them?
iPhone 4s, Windows 7, iTunes: Can I transfer a Playlist from the computer to the phone? And I mean the List itself, not the actual music, it is already on the Phone...
Why do only a small number of songs in my iTunes playlist appear on the playlist on my iPhone after I sync? For example, in iTunes my playlist has 50 songs, but on my iPhone the playlist has 17 songs.
I can't imagine this hasn't been asked before, but I looked around and couldn't find the answer. I have an iTunes playlist that includes an internet audio stream. It works fine in the playlist on iTunes (on my laptop), but when I sync the playlist to my iPhone (4s) it ignores the internet audio stream. Is there any way to get an internet audio stream to be part of a playlist on an iPhone? I know there are apps that will do this, but I'm trying to get it to work within the "music" app on the iPhone so it integrates with my runkeeper app, which uses playlists.
In Zune all I had to do is sync up to the folder with the music library and it automatically added them with the playlists. How can I do this with itunes?? Adding the library didn't add any of the playlists?
Within the past week I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1 and my iTunes to 10.6. When I synced the two with my usb cable, I lost my "Recently Added" and my "Recently Played" playlists on my iPhone. When I sync, I sync everything, not specific playlists. Both playlists remain in my playlist section of iTunes. To further troubleshoot the problem, I synced my old (but still loved) 80GB iPod Classic. The playlists remained on my iPod Classic. how to get my "Recently Added" playlist back on my iPhone?
I'm unable to sync a playlist from itunes to my iphone. I also tried to create the playlist on my iphone and transfer it to itunes but it will only sync a few of the songs on my playlist to itunes and then it deletes the rest of the songs from my playlist on my iphone.
On my previous iPods and iPhone, I've always used live updating smart playlists to keep my music fresh. By adding the simple rule to not include anything played in the last "x" number of days, any song played would disappear from the playlist. In other words, once you play it, it no longer fits the requirement for the playlist, so it drops off, creating a continuously updating, self-contained playlist. I just noticed that my iPhone 4 no longer does this. The playlists do not update until they are synced in iTunes.
I've made some playlists in my iTunes. I've named them Remix 1, Remix 2, etc. I have the songs in a specific order in the playlist on iTunes but when I sync the playlist to my iPhone, they are in a different order. In each song in my playlist, I click on the 'info' tab and put # in the 'track number' but that doesn't help.
I deleted by mistake some music directly with my iphone (by swiping finger on the title and pressing the red delete button on iphone music app). All deleted music are on my itunes and I want to Re-sync iphone to recovery all of my music, but those deleted music don't want to resync. How to re sync deleted music on iphone but still present in iTunes?
When I add an iTunes Smart Playlist to my iPhone 4, the tracks are not in the same order on the iPhone as they are on iTunes. When the iPhone is connected to iTunes, the playlist appears to be sorted correctly but on the device itself, it's out of order. All of my playlists in iTunes are sorted in Album by Artist/Year order, and they occasionally sync the songs in the correct order, but then the order changes.
I have an iPhone 4 and recently purchased a new computer. The technician transferred my iTunes files and they are all on my new computer; however, when I try to create a Playlist, I'm unable to drag it to the iPhone device. It worked on my video iPod, but not with the iPhone. When I try to sync the music library, it says that I will delete all files on my iPhone.Â
I used to be able to create playlists on my iPhone by going into the Music app, the Playlists, then choosing +New Playlist. Â
That option doesn't exist anymore. When I go into playlists, only playlists I have synced to my phone from iTunes are there, no option to create a new one one the run. What happened to it?
I purchased and downloaded a song from the iTunes store, but I can't find it in my playlist on iPhone 5s. Next to the song is the little cloud with arrow pointing down icon
