I have my Iphone since January, and was working normally , then since yesterday is showing searching on the place that should be showing my carrier name. what should I do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 4s was working fine then stopped making calls. It shows 02 as carrier but no signal bars. I swapped out the sim and tried it in my husbands spare iphone 4s and it works fine. I have done a reset 3 times now.

I have purchased this device from my colleague, he is a US citizen, this device worked for some time than suddenly asking searching after trying Airplane Mode Off/On , Reset Network Setting , nothing worked than I try to restore from iTunes unfortunately , I am not able to activate it. and it still showing searching...I know my ICloud  login Id and Password .

For my 9700 the carrier (China Mobile) shows up as @QhtY(triagle)(three horizontal lines).Anyone have any ideas? The SIM cards of other carriers show up perfectly fine. Reboots and battery pulls don't do anything. I've ungraded multiple OS's as well and the problem still persists.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn my thread of "application installation issues", it seems to be determined that my carrier who I got the phone from, is blocking the install of applications as I get a 910 error, application authorization failure, when i try to install an application from: [URL]. After some searching, I've come across BBSAK, which I use to wipe the phone and reload the oS. I've also come across the tool "vendelete" which deletes the vendor.xml files.
So I do the following:
1. Uninstall the original carrier OS from pc.
2. Install OS from different carrier to pc.
3. Use vendelete to get rid of the xml files which it says no xml files were found.
4. Use bbsak to wipe the oS.
5. Reload the OS.
But when the phone boots up, it still shows the sign of the carrier which I don't want, so I presume nothing has been updated? since when I try to install the application again, I still get the 910 error.
My carrier says that one speaker is for music and the other is for speaker phone. But not true. I still only hear from one speaker.

About a week ago, my iPhone 5S started acting very strange. Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

Does anyone know any place that is selling an iPhone 4 case already that I can have delivered on or before June 24? I checked zagg.com and they already have a full body protection for the iPhone 4 but it looks like it doesn't cover the metal ring around it. Would like to protect it as soon as I received it. Just wanted to ask, after the latest update. It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.
I hope I am not contravening any rules in place, if I am please feel free to delete this thread.I have jailbroken my iPhone and spent an age downloading big games from installous, so I was thinking there must be an easier way to get big apps by downloading online and then transferring to itunes and then sync with the iPhone. Is there an online repository somewhere for computers? What is the best place to download apps online?
Also I downloaded 95% of real racing before my wi-fi cut out and the download simply disappeared, is there any way to get it back at 95% or remove the 180ish mb's from the phone? I can't find it anywhere on installous or the iPhone.
now that there is an iMovie, for there also to be an iPhoto for the iPhone too? Obviously, Garage Band, iWeb and iDVD have no place on the iPhone, but iMovie and iPhoto do (seeing as iPhoto is already on the iPad too?). This app, I could see myself using, even more than iMovie.

Every time I try to download a lecture, it will download after a long time, but when I go to play it, the video freezes. I hit play again and it instantly refreezes. This goes on and on until it won't even play at all. This has happened with several different lectures from different universities. Any advice on how to get the videos to play? I typically don't have problems watching videos.
