I purchaced a used iphone and I wanted to sync it with my old iphone, mainly for the apps. Unfortunately, when setting it up I chose 'set up as new device' instead of backing up with iCloud. What can I do now to get all my apps onto my new iphone?

I've forgotten my passlock, and when i try a new code i get it disabled for a period of time, after many attempst i get it disabled again and it says to plug into itunes.....when i plug it in it says itunes can not accept this iphone because it has a passlock..it says to unlock it before plugging it in...the last time i synced it was at my friends house, because my computer broke...i just bought a new laptop and my IPHone isnt syncing or restoring or unlocking..?

I just noticed that my calendar was not syncing with my Google calendar, and went in to settions>accounts and noticed that the sync brower (which was new to me) had stalled and turned the sync circle "red". I then shut off sync browser and rebooted a couple times and my calendar is now synced. Seems that Google is adding feattures as don't recall seeing sync browser.Just curious, is there a webpage that documents or advises updates to this device so that I don't scratch my head each time? The "Apps" do a great job of advising changes, sure would be nice to see changes in the OS.

Whereas, I used to have an option to "choose audio output" (iPhone, speaker, or handsfree device), there is now only the standard built-in speaker option - as though no Bluetooth were connected. The handsfree device (Blueant S4) is connected and contacts synced, and still allows me to make calls - and yet, the audio of the phone calls can only be from the iPhone itself.

Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calerndars -> choose my account.
There is an option to sync my calendar. I assume this syncs my calendar items from my iphone with my google calendar? How does that work? When does it sync? When I dock my phone to sync with my PC or does it sync over the air? Does it work well? When I enabled it. It asked if I wanted to keep the data from my local iphone calendar. I don't want to lose any data so I said yes then it said that this would likely cause duplicate data. Whats the deal there? It would be cool if my calendar data synced in a smooth way with my google calendar but I would just like some additional information so I am sure I know what I am doing here.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI mistakenly installed the 7280 device code on my computer for my 7230 device. Was trying to upgrade the device since the reception was poor.
Now, the desktop manager (v 4.2 and 5.1) do not communicate with the device at all. as soon as i plug the blackberry into the USB, the desktop manager goes into "working" mode so i cannot synchronise or do anything with the desktop software while the blackberry remains plugged in.
Question: how do i get the 7230 device code back (newest version ideally but any edition will do)? It is an old model so finding it hard to locate the device code.
I just recently upgraded my blackberry app world to version4.0.0.63.I also had to upgrade my Black Berry Identity to version 5.3.0.14
After doing so evertime i click on an app in Black Berry App world and choose download, I always get the anoying LONG Disclaimer page that i have to scroll for God knows how long! and then when i choose accept, NOTHING happens. The Please wait sign dissapears instantly and and nothing comes up. Nothing!
It happens with any app i try to download. Also , same exact thing happens when i click on MyAppWorld. I know i am logged in and my account is good because i can go and change my payment options without a problem
I can't seem to get my iphone 4s to sync correctly with itunes. I want to sync only certain songs and I have checked the 'sync only checked songs' option. All it seems to be allowing me to do is sych either entire library or cerain albums, artists and genres (ie not songs). View 14 Replies View RelatedDesktop mgr 5.0.1.37.When I connect (via USB) the connection appears to be recognised - clock appears on BB and PC beeps. After a few minutes PC & BB icons appear on BB screen but no interconnecting arrows. When I try to sync there is no device and PIN number showing on Device Mgr so it doesn't sync. Then the Desktop Mgr greys out and appears to freeze - I then have to disconnect the BB to unfreeze.
Device manager shows two RIM virtual serial ports v2 Com 3 & Com 4. If I try to update the drivers it says most up to date are loaded although the drivers are dated 24 Nov 2008 and are version 2.2.0.3 and appear to be called RimSerial_AMD64.sys (I'm using Intel i7 processor).
Devices & Printers screen shows a RIM Composite Device icon.
Windows in Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I connected my X6 via USB. The screen went blank after I chose media transfer and then came back showing the boot-up screen (white screen with NOKIA in blue letters.) I couldn't switch the device off with the power button so I removed the battery. When I switch it on now, it stays frozen on the boot-up screen and I have to remove the battery again to switch it off.
