Apr 19, 2012I am using a 32G iPhone 4S and running IOS 5.1 (9B179), No jailbreaking. Sometimes I turned off 3G and Cellular Data in "Settings" - "General" - "Network" - "Enable 3G" & "Cellular Data". (for longer battery life outside...) I found that after a period of time (such as one day), the 3G will be enabled but "Cellular Data" still off. I have encountered this issue twice. I am sure I did not touch any settings during this time. Is it a bug in 9B179?

Sep 3, 2015I have a Samsung s6 running 5.1.1 however when I'm at the gym with my headphones in the volume turns itself down to mute.
It's not a button being accidently pressed as when I turn it back up whilst still in my hand it turns back down..
I have the sound alive turned off and the volume adjustment setting is off. I've tried a restore. It's getting on my nerves now to be honest as when I'm running on the treadmill I either have to stop or just run with no music on.

Sep 2, 2014I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.

May 6, 2010I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?

Jan 10, 2010Over the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result

Mar 15, 2012o.k. so this phone has been wet, but dryed it out and it worked for a while then it started turning itself off now quite often 30-40 seconds. I changed the battery so its not that then i swapped the logic board with another phone and it worked in that one so i don;t know what else there is in the phone..

May 30, 2012I have 3Gs. It recently started turning off by itself. I could be listening to music, making a call, on the interenet, or whatever. It turns off with the charger in or out. Most of the time it turns back on right after. Sometimes i will have to maually turn it on. It takes almost 3 minutes to turn back on. Then it will stay on from anywhere between 3 and 30 minutes before it turns back off. It also turns off sometimes when it is shook. Thats only somethimes though. I really need a way to fix this. Please if anyone has any ideas, post them here. Thank you

Jun 3, 2012I got my iphone 4s 3 weeks ago, it was working perfectly for 2 days but then i started noticing that the phone turns off at 20% charge left in the battery,and today I was talking on the phone and the earphone stopped working, so i tried putting the phone call on speaker and it worked fine, and then i put it back in the ear phone and I couldn't hear a thing !the problem is that i don't have a warranty, Note :
1) I tried hardware reset?
2)recovering the phone on itunes?
3) I deleted all the data from it?
4)I use my phone daily for about 5 to 6 hours for games and apps, I don't know should I use less?

As I have read you need to have the lastest update in order for the software update to be 100% good. I did update and I waited till my iphone software updated. Aug 27, 2014I have an IPhone 5 that I got in the winter of 2012. It's running iOS 7.1.2. The past couple of months it has been connecting very slowly to Verizon's network (both 3G and LTE). No problem with WiFi. Eventually, I went to the Apple Store to have it examined. After inspection, the technician reset the network settings on the phone. It was fine for a while. Then in the past two weeks the phone remained stuck on 3G. It would not connect to LTE at all. I had Verizon replace the SIM card twice and reset the network settings. Each time the phone was able to connected to the LTE network fine. And then a few days later it dropped to 3G. Â

As mentioned in the title, phone shuts down by itself, edges of screen flicker upon restart. Basically renders phone useless because it shuts back down within minutes/seconds of restart!
It shuts down at any and all battery levels, but seems to be more prevalent when battery is lower than 60% or 70%.
However, everything's ok when charging! BUT it charges extremely slowly, like less than 5% in an hour w/o any use.
Everything seems ok in the morning after a night of charging too, but starts shutting itself down by midday.
Erased all content and settings once, but problem persists. I suspect its the battery?
