I have an iPhone 4s that I want to transfer music from to iTunes in Yosemite on a MacBook Air. I deleted my account on the laptop and my music with it. Is there a free way to do this? Most of the music on the iPhone was not purchased in iTunes.

When I like to share it in between, some music songs can not get from the Mac to the iPhone, even if I have approved the two to share music in between? Just got this phone yesterday, so I am still learning the ins and outs of the env3. I am a mac user and figured out how to use bluetooth to connect the phone to my macbook. I transferred pictures and music. Both worked and showed up on the phone. I did this until the battery died and plugged it in to do a full charge. After charging, the pictures I had transferred were still in the picture file, but the music did not show up in the music file. When I connected to my mac again the music file shows that the music is still on the phone, according to the computer, but the file on the phone says no music. What do I need to do? Where is the music?

I have moved my iTunes library to a new Windows 7 PC and cannot transfer music from the new iTunes PC to my iPhone 4S. The iPhone will only accept music transfers from the original iTunes PC. I have come to understand that an iPhone can have only one "daddy" iTunes PC, but have not been able to find out how to change the "daddy". I have done a backup of the iPhone, and a "Restore to Original Settings". Then I restored the content using the new iTunes PC. My Apps and contacts, etc. are back on the iPhone, but it still won't accept music from the new iTunes PC.

After having to re-boot my PC, I unfortunately lost some of the music on my iTunes account. The songs are still able to be played on my iPhone but in the iTunes account, to the left of the tick box there is an exclamation mark, and when I click on the song to play it, a box comes up telling me that "the song can not be used because the original file could not be found." Is there any way of me being able to get the songs from my iPhone back onto my iTunes account?

Not all of my music was purchased from the iTunes store so I can't just retrieve it using my apple id. The computer that had all the music saved crashed so I couldn't transfer the music with an external drive. I was told I would have to use a third party software in order to transfer my music from my iPhone to the iTunes. I have downloaded a bunch and they are all trial versions that have a limit to the number of songs I am able to transfer.
