The chance of downgrading present IOS is minimal even though, there may be a minute possibility to do the downgrade process. Some of the features in IOS 6 and 7 are missing in the present running OS.

When you either sync you iphone or just connect it to itunes? In other words, if you plug in your iphone and there is an update possible, itunes forces your iphone to update. Can they legally do that and if so, would they ever do that?

I can hear the beep sound of the USB connectivity when i try to switch on/off the phone connected to my windows computer. But it is not being listed in the itunes devices.
