IPhone 4s :: Cannot Connect To App Store Or ITunes
Dec 8, 2014
i Can connect to iTunes on my computer no problem, absolutely can not connect to the App Store or iTunes via iPhone 4S. It won't work on 3G or wifi, there is no connectivity problem Whatsoever. I need to use the App Store directly from my phone but it's been 48 hours and still will not connect. I have turned it off and on, hard reset, nothing is working.
I just got my iphone 4 last night and i was able to download some apps last night but today for some reason when i go to the app store from the iphone and go to the search tab it keeps saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" i am able to connect every 10th time or so...
I just got an iPhone 5s and set up was easy enough, but I can't connect to the app store or iTunes. Tried things suggested on this forum and the apple guide but nothing has worked so far. Don't have any issues with internet connection.
i have added icloud, gmail, exchange accounts. they all work, i can receive emails, my contacts are synced/downloaded to my phone from both icloud and gmail.Â
i can surf the internet with browser. cannot connect to both app store and itunes. when i start these apps, these are the messages i see on the screen: "Cannot Connect to App Store" and "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store"Â
CHECKED: apple support is checked, but it states general issues, lik is your phones time adjusted, ios version up to date, is there wifi connectivity, if not is there 3g connectivity. as i said, i use 3G and i can surf the internet, enter youtube, watch videos flawless, my contacts synced, i can receive emails...Â
I have been trying to connect to the itunes store for the first time since upgrading my iphone software to IOS 5.1.1 and am getting the error : Cannot Connect to the iTunes Store.

So for 2 months I have not been able to update any of my apps due to the error code "cannot connect to itunes store. I can download new apps, buy music, itunes works fine but I cannot update anything. I have tried resetting, logging in and out of id, turning wifi on and off. Pretty much everything that a not so technical person can do.
Iphone 4 says i have updates to install for my apps, when i try to it prompts for my password which i type in, then it waits a few moments before telling me "Cannot connect to itunes store"
I have updated, restored and synced my phone. I know the password is correct; I put in the wrong one on porpose and I got a different message. Everything works great from my PC, but my phone has been doing this for a week now!
How do I fix message "cannot connect to itunes store"? Already logged out/logged in - worked for a while. Turned off/on -didn't work. Internet works. Made sure cell is on. New download update yesterday am - worked for 1 download -now doesn't work again. Restarted router etc. -didn't work. Ready to return it- defective. Did everything reccomended-didn't work.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, when attempting to download apps
A few weeks ago I was buying a song and it wouldn't finish downloading. It was stuck in the download queue as "waiting" for about 10 minutes until a pop-up message showed up telling me that it can't connect to the iTunes Store. I've tried downloading songs on multiple occasions since then and it continues to tell me it can't connect to the iTunes Store even though my Wi-Fi has a connection (I've also tried it without Wi-Fi with only my 3G on), my Apple ID is correct, and I have automatic downloads on. I've tried all the suggested fixes and none of them work.
So I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.
Am I screwed out of my money? Here is a screenshot of what the charges were made for (there is another $49.99 charge that is not showing up here, but appears in my PayPal account history):
I never downloaded or purchased "Zynga Live Poker", nor did I buy any of the credits for the game.
I followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.
