Jun 24, 2014
My PC recently crashed, and I lost all my Outlook contacts. I have a very similar list of my contacts on my iPhone. I now have a new PC running Windows 8 now, but I am having trouble figuring out how to import the contact list from my iPhone into the address book in Outlook on my Windows 8 system.
The only way I know to import them is with iphoto which is only for mac's and seeing as how I don't own an apple computer how can I accomplish this with my windows computer?
I have my contacts synced to my phone via gmail. I would like to import ALL of my facebook contacts into my gmail/iPhone contacts. That way I would have other phone numbers available without having to load facebook app to find certain people.
I installed the new 2.2.0.241 nokia ovi suite. Is it still possible to import your windows mediaplayer playlists to nokia ovi suite so you can sync your whole playlist (in right order) to your nokia? If yes, how do you do this? if no, what's the easiest way to get my playlist from windows mediaplayer in my nokia?
Because it's a LOT of work to make a new one in ovi suite.

My old phone (samsung) dies yesterday, and i had all contacts saved on my SD card.Luckely its the same card as in the X10, so it is recognisable, and i can import all contacts one by one.

i cant figure out a way to synchronize to my Motorola Milestone my contacts and Calendar from outlook or PC Suite.I used Sony Ericsson and Nokia in the past and always was so easy to do it.But now, i cant find a good program for the Motorola to do it... This Motorola media link, doesn't seem to do the work as the PC Suite does..Is there any universal program out there that it might help?
I tried doing this using the SIM, but found that this only carreid over the first phone number and no extra numbers or email addresses. So then I exported from the LG to my desktop [using a USB connection] and then tried importing this file, but the 9800 didn't like it at all.
So then I swapped the SIM to the 9800 and used the Blackberry Desktop Manager to export an ascii file to my desktop computer. This gave me a file with """" a million quotation marks in it which made it way too hard to edit and add numbers etc to it. So I imported this to an XL file [using the header labels from the 9800] and edited my info. When I tried to import this to the Blackberry, it recognised the file OK, but wouldn't transfer the info across. So I then saved the XL file as a csv but this didn't work either.

I have about 1200 contacts in ACT! that I want to keep in my phone. I have tried to sync my phone with my computer a couple of times, the results from which have been very disappointing. I have tried syncing both through Outlook to the phone, and from a CSV file to the phone. Both methods result in significant amounts of information missing when the contacts are imported into my phone.
My missus has just bought the SGS2 - she previously had a Blackberry Bold 9780.The issue we have is getting her contacts from the BB to the SGS2.You cannot copy the contacts to the sim in the BB so I have had to do a backup of them using the BB desktop manager. That saves them as an IPD file.So how can I now get those loaded onto the SGS2?Will KIES recognise such file?
