I did the update to the new software for the phone so it started turning off randomly and now it wont charge or turn on I don't have warranty on the phone anymore and I don't know how to fix it?
I can't seem to turn off the "unlock" option on my Nokia X3 -02 phone.A few people have suggested changing my security settings, but that's not the problem. Every few minutes the phone locks automatically, then I have to slide the unlock option to get the phone operational.Isn't there any way to override this "lock". It's completely automatic, and very very annoying to have to unlock the phone every time I want to use it. I realize the lock is there to protect unwanted use, but I'd rather be responsible for that and not have the phone decide when to lock.
This suddenly happened after I turned it off (By just turning it off to standby). I've tried connecting it to 2 different chargers, but my phone still isn't showing the red light at the top, like it should when it's charging. I've also tried holding the power button and volume down, power button and volume up button to see if that would work, but it didn't. Will my phone every turn on again? What else can I do to possibly make my phone turn on/charge? The phone is not running a custom ROM. It's running HTC Sense 6 and Android 4.4.3 at the moment.
My phone was on 10% battery level and when I went to charge it, It was already shut off and it wouldn't turn back on or even charge. I plugged it in my computer as well and it wouldn't do anything.
My software is up to date but I appear to have some battery-related problem. The percentage showing as remaining is often incorrect and after I charge my phone for a period of an hour or so afterwards the phone switches itself off repeatedly at regular intervals and reboots itself.
I found this site trying to find answers and found a few topics on the issue but none had fixes that worked for me, so I'm going to go into as much detail as possible so you can address the issue as quickly as possible. I also do not have access to a computer that I can download stuff to at the moment.I received the X10 last night from my girlfriends mother as she got an upgrade, I believe she had no problems at all with the phone. It turned on fine and seemed to have quite good battery last night, but I needed a SIM card. This morning I went to the shop to buy a SIM and the phone worked seconds before getting it but after the SIM was inserted would not turn on or charge. (and being an idiot got the wrong network could his contribute to the problem?)
A few days after i've updated to iOS 8.1.1 my iphone 5s died and isn't turning on and its not charging. i have my legit charger that came with my phone and after 6 months it stopped working, i even have a charging case and that wont charge it.
If you encounter the thing that the Nokia N8 won't charge and worst, if the battery was drained and the N8 shutted down and won't charge or power on, try the following steps.
1. Connect the charger supplied with the N8 to other compatible Nokia phones, like E72 like I did.
2. Wait for the other device (E72) to start charging.
3. After it starts charging, remove the charger from it (E72).
4. Now, try to charge the N8 using the supplied charger that you used with the other device previously (E72).
Just got home from visiting my parents tried to turn Motoactv on and nothing works. If I use wall charger it turns on for a few seconds charge indicator goes 5, 20, 60 and then to 100% in a few seconds and then the charge light goes off.
When I use usb to laptop charge light comes on and then it doesn't do anything isn't recongised by my laptop. After searching forums I noticed a couple of others have had same problem but didn't really see a solution. Hard tried har restting and no joy. Has anyone had this problem and got their Motoactv to work ?
Really concerned about getting support for this as it was purchased from a shop in the States and I am guessing Motorola UK aren't going to support this.
My phone is only 11 months old and the other day one minute it was working, and the next it completely went dead. I tried turning it on and of, charging it for a long period of time, taking the battery in and out but nothing seems to be working. However the keyboard lights up, the phone makes a sound whenever the charger is taken out, the volume keys make a noise, and just when I put it to charge using my Wii it made a different noise. I have already contacted Motorola and Orange and they have told me to reset it?
my n97 wouldn't charge nor turn on whatever I just see the little led charge light on, I understood this is a software problem with the battery management program which is ridiculous but found myself without a phone so decided to remove battery and take off the plug to an old phone and connect the + and - directly to the battery for 10mins and conected the battery back up turned phone on and connected it onto the main N97 charger and it started normally.
I have been trying to find the reason why it keeps happening and I still can't find out why but i think the battery is not the main problem to it, I think it's the phone.
Last night my battery was low. So i put it in the charge before i went to sleep and today morning my alram didnt went off annyways than i looked at the plug and the switch was off. so i am assuming i neva put on charge. Now its been on charge for an hour and it just wont turn on I connect it and the LED lights stays for a minute and then i get this empty jug with blue bolt sign saying its charging.
Recently a Few problems have started playing up on my phone:
Pictures have been going corrupt for an unknown reason, so I repaired using Companion, However, Now my Phone does not turn on, or charge nor pick up Companion- I have tried 5 different batteries and 2 different chargers
I've tried the S6 on the Google and Nokia wireless charging pads and the screen illuminates every few seconds. This is especially annoying at night. I don't have the option to keep awake while charging selected and this doesn't happen with the plug-in charger.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? I also own a Nexus 6 and I don't have that issue with either charging pad.
This is satish , I purchased sony Neo L in August last week.till now its working perfect,
day before yesterday i was travelling and its battery got fully discharged. after that its not powering up ,
I tried to contact Sony xperia support via call and they asked me to Start my phone in safe mode but it was also not working. till yesterday it was vibrating and nothing was coming on display, but now even its not viberating,
its only blinking red light when i connect to charger or USB.
I just upgraded my phone today. The phone was working at the T-mobile store out of the box with the limited battery charge the phones ship with. I came home did some stuff .. and the battery was running low. It warned me so I went to plug it into my computer and continued using it. It said it was charging. After a short amount of time the screen powered down and flashed a grey battery logo with a white loading symbol and powered off again and back on doing the same thing.
After this ... the phone would no longer power on even though I left it connected via USB to the laptop. Kind of pissing me off since the phone is brand new. Can I resolve this or is the phone defective?
I bought my X6 1 month ago and now it doesn't want to charge or turn on. Before this happened I was on the phone talking and I had low battery so I decided to put my charger in while I was talking. I have charged it all night and it still won't turn on.
sometimes when i put my phone on charging it restarts mostly and very rarely it switches off and then it very hard to switch on as it doesnt get on with power key.i press menu key and power key for 15secs then it gets start.i just wanna know why this happens only when i put my cell (X7) on charging.
For a normal charge of th nokia x202, how long should it take for me to have the battery charged again. Currently I am charging the battery twice in one day and I see it abnormal for a fone which supports countless hours of music play.
Yesterday my mobile slipped from hand. After that when charge went down I connected the plug for charging and left for 2hours when I removed the mobile from plug again it shows battery low. After few hours the battery is completely discharged and mobile is not getting switched on without direct power supply. When its connected to power supply I see the battery charging animation shows as its charging.
I have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.
With both the charger and the USB charging, the screen shows charging, the battery meter runs as if charging, but even after an hour of charging, the charge remains the same and immediately shows low battery
how to turn off the "unlock" option when the phone is turned on? Everytime I pick my phone up, I have to "unlock" it before I can do anything. This gets rather annoying. Any way to turn this off so I can just use my phone as soon as I touch the screen?
I got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up
