Feb 28, 2011I own a Nokia X3-00. When I first purchased it, after 2 days, it failed to switch on. Instead a white screen appeared and after the Nokia logo appears, the screen flashes 3-4 times and than it goes off. I got a new set in place of it since it was just 3 days old. Now the new phone I got also got the same problem of white screen. I wanted to ask that what is the reason behind this white screen problem? I didn't update the firmware and didn't disturbed any settings of the phone.

So far I'm very impressed with it, with one exception.The screen's white color temp appears to be quite low, giving whites a yellow-ish tint.I'd say white color temp is a little lower than 6500K.is this normal?Or should I try and have the phone replaced by the store (DOA policy)?I compared the screen with both my old Motorola Milestone and my sister's Xperia Pro Mini and the whites are indeed yellow-ish, at least compared to them...Unfortunately, the Xperia Pro is not officially available here in Greece so I can't just walk into an electronics store and compare my pro's screen to another Pro demo unit...

Nov 12, 2011I updated N8 to Anna. Everything is fine except one issue. In one of the home screen, I have may gmail mailbox added as a widget and preview messages appear in blue color. Previously, the text used to be in white before ANNA update. Now I don't see any option to change the color. How to change this color ? Even when I go to the mail's inbox, I see the same color - blue.
