Xseries :: How Much Messages Storage Is Available In Nokia X1-00 & X1-01 Respectively
Dec 3, 2011
i would like to know that how much messages storage is available in Nokia X1-00 & X1-01 Respectively & Also tell this that Both SIMS work @ Same Time or when we recieve call on 1 sim, other stops working?
I've just got the Nokia X3-02.I've been a Sony Ericsson user for years and years, but chose the X3-02 for it's keypad having no look getting used to the S.E. touch screen models. Texting took forever.Anyway, with the S.E.'s you could store your text messages on your memory card, but with the Nokia I can't seem to find that option.I'm getting,"phone memory full",messages.Surely if not by default you can store your texts onto your sd card on the Nokia?
Whenever i connect this phone to PC using Mass storage mode
it shows the drive but when i open it, it says "please insert in drive..." or when i check drive properties, it says Size availble as 0 and used also as 0.
In short, it is not detecting the memory card although it works fine with OVI
I am facing a problem in Nokia X6 8GB. When I connect my phone to PC, usually there comes a list of 4 options(Ovi suite, Mass Storage, Image Transfer, Media Transfer). And i could connect phone to PC in all modes. But now, when I connect my phone to PC in mass storage mode, it automatically switches to ovi suite! I can't connect it in mass storage mode . But I can access mass storage when I connect my phone in Ovi suite mode. And I can copy files to and from mass storage. But I can't connect in mass storage mode. What might be the reason. Pls say ur valuable opinions and answers...(I have already did formating many times(both mass storage and phone). But still the problem exists)
I'm wonder if there is a possibility to send SMS message from PC Suite application connedted to Nikia X2-02 from second sim card.If I'm doing it from my phone he is asking me which card he should use.I would like to have the same ability to select sim card to send sms from PC. Right now all the sms messages are sent from first sim cardo only from computer.
I have nokia X7 and sometimes it shows the messages "conn. fail." and after this mssg I cannot make a call nor anyone can call me. Then I have to reset my phone and after sometime it come again.
I just would like to know on how to change the storage location of SMS in Nokia X3-02. I tried getting into the message settings but there's no option to change the location.
When I plug in My X2 Firmware Version 4.90 using cable to my computer and that have three selection for select 1)Nokia Ovi Suite 2)Media Transfer 3)Mass Storage, I selected the first of two option that see function properly but when i select third option (3) "MASS STORAGE" that sure this "Access memory card from connected device. Press done when finished. When i Press Done that show back the three option as mention above, It is this normal or got firmware phone bugs issue.
whats the total storage and available storage after factory reset?i have the latest update 12121, total storage is 6.28GB and my available storage is 5.94GB is that normal?
My phone is giving me messages that I have no more storage although it should have 16GB capacity. I have a modest amount of music and 40 photos. How can I find out where all the storage has gone to?
I have an iPhone 4s and I kept getting alerts saying my storage was allmost full, so I went in usage it said my messages were taking up 6.8 GB of data. I went and deleted them all even though I only had 18 conversations and after deleting every single one its still taking up 6.6 GB!I have no messages anymore but its wasting all my storage for some reason??
So for weeks I've been dealing with a low storage space issue on my N5. I've been hovering at about 500MB of free space. I delete some photos, some cached data, etc., and get some more breathing room for awhile. (An aside: there's a specific app that is using way too much data storage and the amount keeps going up and up; I'm trying to resolve that issue without deleting the app.)
Occasionally I've received the system alerts about no new voicemail downloads, possibly no new message downloads, etc. I'll clear some space and those alerts go away and everything continues to seem to work fine.
This morning I got the low storage space alert(s), deleted some stuff, eventually got a handful of new email notifications, but for the past 6+ hours I've received no new txt messages (I use Messenger app for sms). I currently have 553MB of free space, I'm getting email notifications, and txt messages I send out are successfully received.
How do I resolve this? My N5 is unrooted. I've tried leaving it off for awhile, and have obviously rebooted it. Could this just be some network issue? (I'm on tmobile.)
(btw, I somewhat recently backed up and deleted a bunch of sms/mms messages, so there's only about 8000 currently on my phone, taking up about 165MB of space.)
Installed MotoSpeak to get the full benefit from the Roadster device. Immediately upon installation received a low storage message even thougth I had 29.97 MB available on my Droid 1. I have run with no problems at this memory amount before. But more importantly, I am unable to receive any text messages. Text messages are "rejected due to full message memory'. I do not have any text messages on my phone. Have deleted all of them before installing MotoSpeak.
This appears to be a problem with MotoSpeak and not my Moto Droid 1. Has anyone been able to get MotoSpeak to work successfully with their phones?
I performed a phone switch in my X2-01 to transfer my contacts and messages from an N2690.The data connection was lost before it can complete so I had to do a second try. I noticed that there were a lot of messages with empty headings in the X2-01 which I did not have in the N2690. I tried to delete them, but I was getting the message "Error occurred. Deletion not completed." over and over again. When I used a PC Suite, the empty messages displayed with their body and I recognized them as the previously deleted messages in the N2690. I was unable to delete the messages using the PC Suite even after restoring to factory settings (including personal data).
I was wondering, is there a way to delete an entire conversation?I assumed it would be any standard feature on any phone which has sms messages displayed as conversations. Not only can I not find a way to do this, but it seems that I can't even select and delete individual messages from the conversation view, I need to select and enter each individual message to then delete it, which returns me to the top of the thread. This is very frustrating when wanting to delete an entire conversation. It will take forever!
Is there a way to save all my text messages to my pc, format them so that they appear chronologically with who sent what as headers so i can email them to someone?
In nokia x2-01, where can i find the number of messages sent daily? like. .you know in the lower version phones like 1616 and 1110, there is always an option to see the number of sent and received messages in the MESSAGE SETTINGS..could not spot it in x2-01. . where can i find it?
I did a backup of Nokia x6 (FW 40.X latest) on Nokia PC suite and Nokia suite. I then did a hard reset of my phone and now I'm unable to restore text messages from backup file. In fact not just the new ones but none of the backup files are getting restored. I do a backup every 2 weeks and even the older files don't seem to work. Rest of the data got restored absolutely fine. Only have a problem with test messages.
I nearly have 7000 sms across inbox and my folders. too much data lose ( or may be too much to restore? ).
List of Nokia phones I've used: 3310, 3315, 3200, 6600,3250, N73 ME, N95 8GB, 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia X6 16 GB (currently using this).
i was using Ovi maps it got crashed and after that cell is showing random no and when i open ovi maps it shows messages like odc check , link layer open?
deleting invisible messages in Nokia X2-01 Inbox? Number of Message is more than 100 but I can see only 4 or 5 messages. I can delete those 4-5 messages but cannot see or delete any message from those 100 (or more).
