Xseries :: Nokia X2 - 02 Display Often Turns Off While Using?

my 20days old Nokia X2 - 02 handset's display sometimes turns off while using as if it goes to sleep mode while using the phone. Sometimes it happens while a video is being played, while writing text, scrolling through web pages etc. I've to press the any key to turn On the screen light. Why this happens? is it normal or a problem with the software or hardware. The problem is that it does not display Cell Info display correctly. Only few times it shows, But only for sometime. Is this bug fixed in the latest version 5.44 ???? and it also has the signal problem .. If i put it in my pocket , the whole signal goes away in both sims....

In my Nokia X2 sometimes screen turns white ...and after about 3 seconds it comes to normal especilally while reading after a message ..It happens about 3 to 4 times a day ...my software is 4.9 ..

My N8's display always turns totally black when there is an incoming call, or even when thealarm rings. Before can see the caller's name and answer the call, I have to disable the screen's "keylock".I tried to find a point in the phone settings wher I can avoid this, but didn't find any.

i bought x2 02 1 wk back
when i visited nokia care shop for display flickering they told me to update version of firmware i followed their advice they got me updated to v 11.57
however display flickering continues to remain headche

I recentley bought a Nokia X6. Everything works just fine,except one thing. Sometimes,when I am connecting to some (free) wifi spots,although connection is well established, the browser gives error message that it cant display the website(every one).

In the last week my phone stared acting up and I'm not always able to wake the screen. The backlight turns on, but nothing else is showing. Sometimes I need to press the power button few times and it turns on, sometimes 30 times. Sometimes horizontal colored lines appear.
I tried with the factory data reset, thinking it's a software issue, but it didn't work.
The only thing I found was this article related to the Ultra Z model, but with my same problem [URL] ...., but no solution.

My phone's display light automatically turns on even if I dont use it. This results in low battery and phone becomes hot. I have tried with 'Screen timeout' option but in vain. what has to be done to make my phone work well.

I have my screen set to a 2 minute timeout and have the phone set to hang up by pressing the top button. When I am using the speakerphone, after 2 minutes, the screen goes blank and there is nothing I can do to get it back. The only button that works is the top button and that hangs up the call.

My screen turns ON automatically when sitting on counter/table (not touched) every 10-30 seconds continuously. Even if I have the screen lock on or the phone completely locked, the home screen keeps popping up. When I attempt the screen lock alone, within a minute the screen turns on and unlocks automatically without touching the phone. It's killing the battery.

Over the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result

My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

I notice in my w850i when I try to press down sometimes graphics becomes destorted I need to press power button until menu appears then its ok sometimes not and eventually turns white. Im forced to reinsert battery over and over again.

I brought my Vivaz a while ago. The display somehow had a loose connection so it went back to the shop. A while later I got it back, but it started to do this annoying thing, not turning on and it went very slow, but I assume thats because the memory card was almost full. Well, now when I want to turn it on, the white "sony ericsson" screen comes up and a little vibration, and nothing more. When I set it to charge, the red light and the "sony ericsson" screen comes, but after a while I still cant turn it on. When I set it to my computer nothing happens but it "charges" again and the little charge icon never comes up when it charges either. Just the screen I have mentioned and the little red light in the side of the phone.

i am not getting cell info display even when it is enabled in the phone. i am using uninor sim in sim 2 ( as for those who do'nt know about uninor, in india uninor gives the current discount in call rate as cell broadcast / info message and it is continously flashed when i use the same sim in nokia 1200).

when recieving an incoming call my x3 doesn't display the number that's calling me, even if I have the number in my contacts, it just says "call". I've had a look through the settings and options and that to see if i have to turn anything on, but could't find anything.

is is possible to limit the contacts display to the contacts stored in the phone only? If i have contacts on my SIM cards and in the phone the contact display lists all of them. I couldn't find an option to limit the display to the phone storage only. So i see duplicates. This is anoying. Even my 6 year old 3110 classic can do this! Nokia - where have you hidden this option?

I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!

I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.

I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?

I can't turn on the phone because the phone stacks in a blank Nokia logo and then turns off. When I try to connect in the PC nothing happens and when I try to put the battery into the device. it turns on by itself and restarting sevaral times. I dont know what kind of problem I am facing.

I've seen quite a lot of ~year old posts about the Nokia N8 turning itself off. But is it just my phone that still does this? I just bought mine, and I have the latest updates to Anna installed. If i leave the phone idle for a few hours, it turns itself off. It has done so several times now. I tried having a NightClock app running while I slept, which kept it busy. That kept the phone on. When I exited the app and left it to itself, the automatic screensaver appears, and after a few hours, the phone turns itself off again. Sometimes the clock alarms I set doesn't even ring, after it has turned itself off. I tried a hard reset (i think that's the right term), which erased all my data, and after this the "welcome screen" that appeared the very first time I turned it on, appeared again. I installed the latest updates once more. Still it turns itself off.

My wifi and packet data connections are set to turn on "After Confirmation" (instead of Automatic).FOr Internet access, Maps, and Nokia Messaging I have set the Access Point to Wifi and set it to "Always Ask" (for incoming & outgoing).Before I set up Nokia Messaging for my POP account the wifi would come on whenever I selected the Access point when an application requested it, and then turn off once the application was closed. However, after I have set up Nokia Messaging with 4 hour sync the wifi keeps turning on by itself. Even if I disconnect the active connection it turns on automatically within a couple of minutes.Nokia Messaging pops up every four hours asking if it can use the wifi. Even if I have terminated the active wifi a couple of minutes earlier, it will turn on as soon as I select "Cancel" for the popup from Nokia Messaging. In other words, no matter what I do, wifi turns on automatically and stays on till I disconnect it after which it turns on automatically.I have updated to the latest firmware nokia had for the phone. I have rechecked the settings several times and made sure no other application is active or trying to access the Net.All I am looking for is for the wifi ti turn on when checking mail and then turn off untill needed after 4 hours, so that batter life is not being used uselessly.

I'm having problems turning it on the white nokia screen it comes on momentarily (no handshake) and then it goes off and nothing happens? Battery was half charged when I switched it off due to no ceverage and haven't been able to switch it back on.
