Xperia Ray :: ST18i Sim Card Couldn't Be Detected

I've started using the handset since last 3 weeks. It currently has software up to date (Android 2.3.4 build 4.0.2.A.0.42). Eveything was ok with this handset until last night. I've removed the SIM card and put it back and restart. It doesn't detect the sim card anymore. I've tried the SIM card with another handset. It workes fine. Also I've tried another SIM card with RAY. it doesn't detect the other SIM card either.CI

Xperia Z3 just came back from repairs, apparently they did software upgrades and replaced a hard drive, now its not reading my memory card. It was fine before the repair though.

on sd card settings screen it shows sd card available space but when i try to do something that requires sd card phone keeps saying "sd card not detected"

right after doing the upgrade my ST18i got very hot, and turned off after ~5 minutes.For sure I did a "Telefon reparieren" via PC-Companion, and installed no additional Apps.But the ST18i still becomes very hot - I guess its ~45-50°C. To use it again I have to pull-out accu and put it in again ...Replacing the accu makes no differences. when it switches to inactivity-mode the it can't be used anymore ... I have to pull-out accu and put it in again, too.the accu is empty after ~50 minutes. Even a new one has this short time.

My Xperia Ray (ST18i) taking restart after bluetooth on! this happend 4 time and every time its ok when i flashed it. But its happend again after some days. I updated latest ICS already.

My Xperia Ray - ST18i doesnt wake up from standby if i don't connect it to the USB of my laptop. I have upgraded it to 4.0.4. It also doesnt charge if i plug it to any powerpoint and only charges with my desktop/laptop.

my problem is my iPhone 3GS couldn't detect my SIM card. Only when I tap harder and hold it the message pop up saying No Sim installed and No service. I tried re-putting it in but no change.

Recently, after cracking the screen on my HTC Sensation, I decided to have a go at replacing it myself.After changing the digitizer, the screen seemed to work ok however, the SIM card and the SD card are nolonger detected when inserted. I've tried numerous SIM cards, and none work (in other words, it's nothing to do with the SIM card nor the SIM card holder!). Everything else seems to work fine.
I disassembled/reassembled the phone again with the same result. From what I can tell, all four of the flexi connectors are correctly engaged.I performed a factory reset on the phone with the same result.I've inspected the flexi's/PCB's under a microscope and can see no component/flexi/PCB damage.I've blown the insides out with air to remove any potential debris shorts.All of the disassembly was performed on an ESD mat with ESD strap, so I don't think I've done any static damage.

I bought a Sony Ericsson C510 before 7 months ago and now I confused with such a problem which always gave the message "Insert Sim or view demo" and "Inactive SIM" always. And it is already damaged to my SIM also (SIM was worked perfectly when I have this problem). So I bought a new SIM and insert it and again my phone gave me same error. But my new SIM is work properly in other phones now also. I already updated the firmware of the phone. But still it not detecting the SIM.

I recently acquired a 32 GB class 10 Kingston microSDHC card for use with my N8.
The phone seems unable to detect it however
The card works fine on the PC, and I tried out a couple of other microSD cards (lower capacity though - 2 and 4 GB) in the phone, and they work fine as well. So it's just this combination of 32 GB card + N8 phone that seems broken.

For some reason my media card has become un-detected by my curve. It has worked fine for the past month or so that i've had it and now it's just disappeared. In Memory settings everything is switched to 'On' but the handset doesn't want to recognise the card for some reason. I took it out and put it back in and got nothing, did a soft recent by pulling the battery and still nothing.

When I go to settings to check for a software update, i frequently get a "DM not ready, SIM Card not detected" error. if I close the software update screen and re enter it works fine. Never seen that one before

So my phone just lost cellular connection. No bars no nothing. When i put my sim to other phone everything works . So i want to know is there any way to test if my nexus 5 hardware is failing or is there any other bug/fix what can i do to get this work. My phone detects sim card, it detects services but says cannot connect to this network right now, try again later.

Having problem with memory card, i cant see it, while on other phones my card is fine. Another thing is that if i press take picture button camera applications opens but lens is closed. Lens open/close is not detected, if i open it camera application does not start.

Any application with Large APK files throw this error.. Smaller APKs are fine, and continue to allow me to move them after throwing this error..

App will transfer fine via Sony's 'Transfer Data to SD Card', but sadly it Transfers 'all moveable Apps' rather than giving you the ability to choose specific apps.. So that method is a huge ball ache!!! Oh and can you give us the option to remove the 'you have 25% of storage left' nag.. its a proper pain in the backside, given there is usually at this point plenty of storage left...Â

I have quite a few Humble Bundle APK's, that are quite big, and are unable to be moved to external because of this issue.. For the record it also does this for Play Store APK's.. I will give JetPack Joyride/ Minion rush as an example...

Yes I know on Lollipop I am aware both the APK and Lib files are only moved to the External SD Card as part of the Apps2Sd feature

About a month ago whenever I made or received a phone call the person on the other end couldn't hear me. I could hear them fine my end! I tried swapping across to loud speaker but it still didn't work! I sent it off for repair and had the part of the phone with the microphone speaker replaced. Its come back and still does it! My brother said it was possibly the latest update as it was roughly around then that it went but I'm not sure!

I am on a Sony Z3 running Android 5.0.2 on my phone and never had an issue previously
I have a bluetooth device which used to be paired to my phone. However the device will no longer pair. When I try to connect the device via the App for it, I get the following error:
Couldn't pair with xxxx Because of an incorrect PIN or Passkey. The problem with this is THE DEVICE Does not have a method to input a passkey or pin
And it has NEVER asked for one in the past. I have already tried restarting the phone.
Uninstalling and installing the app for the device and nothing works'.
In fact to make things worse when I try to view the device via Bluetooth devices on the phone it does not show up on the list of devices. However If I use an iPHONE, I can see the device in the list of bluetooth devices. Which is suggesting that this is an ISSUE with the Bluetooth for the Sony Z3 on Android 5.0.2 ....

i have a xperia neo (MT15i) and tree month ago i tried to unlock my phone so i went to wotanserver.com and did every thing it said
but i wasn't successful and my phone didn't unlock and when i turn on my phone i saw that my sim card isn't detected but it was detected in another mobiles i search in many websites to repair my phone but they couldn't help me but i understand what is my phone problem but i can't repair it i understand my sim wasn't detected because i tried to unlock my phone but my phone "bootloader unlock allowed" says "NO"?

i am using xperia neo v for the past 9 months. its running stock ICS and its rooted. two days backs i was using my sim in my usb modem to connect pc and all was working fine.when i tried to put back the sim into my phone found, the sim was not getting inserted in the gap provided. after applying some pressure it went in and when i switched on the phone it was saying "Emergency Calls Only No Sim". i switched off the phone and tried to pull out the sim but it was like stuck there and was not coming out. after some serious pulling it came out. i tried my sim in another phone it was working fine and also tried other sims on my phone all the time its saying No Sim. after some attempts to insert and remove the sim now the slim slides in and out of the gap easily.after searching the issues in internet i updated the phone using sony update center but the issue still persists.is it an issue with the hardware? do i have to take it to the service center?

The phone was not getting detected in USB.When I insert USB, I could see the charging LED glows. -So no problem with the connecting chord.I looked thro the forums.einstalling pc companion, rebooting machine, rebooting phone, soft reset - dint helpDevice manager (I am using Vista) shows two 'Base System Devices' - drivers are not working.I reinstalled pc companion, which inturn installed the drivers once again - No helpWhen I manually try to search the driver, nothing helped. Driver couldn't be found in both windows folder and the pc companionfolder I went to the sony service centre. They are showing me the phone is getting detected in their machine
