Big xperia fan x10, S, Z2 and now Z5 but only had the phone for a few days and having some trouble. Phone turned off even though it had 40% battery left and wouldn't turn back on. Got home and put it on the charger, screen lights up with red light at top but then it vibrates and shuts down, then it just keeps repeating this... screen lights up, vibrates, powers down, screen lights up vibrates, powers down etc etc no text or images come on the screen whn it lights up
- using my phone in the car, charging via my Sony Bluetooth Radio (built in to my car) - battery was decreasing faster than charging and the phone ran out of battery and turned off - tried to plug it into mains but no red light to verify charging - used another charger and still no red light to verify charging - tried to turn on. nothing. tried to reset. nothing. - checked chargers with friends phone and chargers were working fine - tried to charge the phone with a PC USB. PC verified something had been plugged in but said they couldn't verify and there was a problem. - left the phone for about an hour. - when returned to the phone the red out-of-battery light was blinking when I tried to press the power button. - went to my car and tried to charge it via the sony bluetooth radio - lights turned off and phone returned to unresponsive state - got home about 40 minutes later and red lights are on - charged it via AC adapter at home, left it for a bit, now charging normally. Â For a while i thought my phone was completely busted and I was so angry as I've just had a replacement. Before lollipop if the phone ran out of battery it would just start to charge.. I wouldn't have to wait an hour for it to become responsive again?! just making sure this isnt a fault.
yesterday my z2 turned off suddenly while i was using it. After that it shows Only red led when i plug the charger, no response, plugging it to the pc vÃa usb doesn't work either.
I updated my iPhone back in September to the iPhone 4 and have had absolutely no problems with it untillm y battery became low and proceeded to turn off and now it won't charge or turn back on and I don't know what to do or whats happened?
My blackberry tour died of battery last night and I tried charging it when I got home, it didn't charge. I tried the wall charger, and I tried different plugs. It came up with a battery sign with a lightening bolt. Also, I tried USB charger and nothing worked. I took the battery out a couple times too and let it sit for 20 mins and even a half hour, and i put it in and nothing has worked. I pressed the power button a couple of times and took the SIM card out and still nothing.
My phone died 2days ago but when i went to charge it there are no signs of it charging, i took out the battery and put it back in but still nothing, not even the red flashing light.
after trying to make a call the iphone went to a black screen and won't reset. tried holding down both buttons, tried to charge it, tried to reset it while connecting it. nothing. looked at a million Internet videos and nothingssimilar.
My iphone 4 has died as normal and it will not recognise any charge whatsoever, i have had the handset nearly 2 years so my contract is nearly up but i still would like it to last out a few more months, is there anything i can do to fix it, i have tried numerous chargers !
my iphone 4 has died after running out of battery and now will no longer charge. I have tried different plugs and different cables, held both home and power button, left it in to charge for several hours. Nothing.
When I was charging it previously before it stopped working it kept stopping and recharging again, I could tell this as every few moments it vibrated twice as the phone does when you put it in to charge on silent. I was trying to sleep and I just gave up and stopped it. Since then it's just given up. It's not jailbroken and has suffered no damage and I believe it's on the latest version of iOS.
My iphone 4 suddenly died last night even though it said it had about 40% power. When I plug it in, it turns back on but will not connect to anything (no internet, and I can't call or text). As soon as I unlpug it, it turns off, and sometimes when it is plugged in it either says it has 0% or 100% charge. After about 60 seconds of being plugged in it turns off and restarts. It won't start up fully when I plug it into my computer, it just shows the Apple symbol before shutting off again. I am thinking this is a hardware issue. Is it possible that the battery is so drained (since it won't hold charge), even when it is plugged in, that it doesn't even have the power to connect to the internet or call or anything? I have had this phone for about 1.5 years.Â
Important note: I had it fixed about 2-3 weeks ago when the whole front piece of the phone was shattered when it was run over by a car, lol. Even in that state, the phone continued to vibrate when recieving calls, and when the front piece and home button were replaced everything was working except for the camera. Maybe some internal damage is just now catching up to the phone?
I forgot to charge my phone so it died. Then i charged its and the phone didn't connect to the charger and said that i need to connect with itunes. I did and when i connect my phone to the Itunes and it said that i need to restore my phone and download new version. I did both. But i did not see my phone update new version ( 5.1.1). But i still dont know why after that my phone block. i had to setting all things. my phone did not accept my sim ( t-mobile). my phone said i need to insert the sim even i already did?
My Phone won't charge, I've tried different positions, taking the battery out and in. It started like a week ago when i charged it to 95% and it stoppped. I left it on charge (turned off as it often doesn't register the charger whilst it's on) and in the morning it had lost all it's battery. I now can't recharge it.
Yesterday i tried to turn on my phone and i realised it has no battery at allthen i tried to charge it but nothing happenedjust the red led light flashed 3 times but the phone doesnt charge and i cant turn it on im using the original SE charger.
Whenever i put the phone (Z3+) on charge (Phone switched Off) it restarts on its own when the powers goes off and comes again.Â
The phone also starts when i firstly power off the switch on the board and unplug the socket than unplug the usb cable from the phone. It doesn't starts if i first unplug the usb cable.
I have had the phone since first launch with no issues until now  From time to time, the phone will not start charging when power cord i connected, simply nothing happens. when I restart the phone the charging will start (with the same original charger).Â
I'm charging my x8 for about 2 hours, the phone is connected and there is orange light but the battery level still at 19%. It still the same even i've take the battery out and restart it.
After lolipop update I can't charge the phone to full, i already made a clean setup via pc companion after i resetted the phone. My phone goes to 84% and starts blinking charging/notcharging, so finally after 10 h of charging it has only 85% of accu.i can charge my mobile while its turned of ..Also im sure there are no apps is consuming the battery while im charging it .
I plugged the phone in at about 15% and I started to play a little game. Not sure how long I was playing maybe 10-15 minutes. When I looked the battery was at 6%. Phone was on the charger! I then exited the game and put the phone down and started some cleaning. About 10 minutes later I went back and the phone was down to 2%!!! I couldn't understand what happened. This is exactly what was happening with my s3 before I switched to this phone. I unplugged the phone to make sure it was plugged in correctly. When I unplugged I got the notice that there was no power left and it shut down. I can't even tell what was running or if the game was still running.
I try to shut down the phone to charge it but it keeps re-starting itself. I plug it in, power the phone down and it restarts. Same when I plug it in when it is already off. Is this normal?
I've had Xperia Z2 for almost two months now, today when I was at work I noticed that it was off, although it had more than 40% of battery still remaining. I tried turning it back on but as it didn't work I figured something was wrong with it.
I tried hard reset and it did vibrate three times, but it still wouldn't turn on. I thought something drained the battary and waited till I got home to charge it. Now that I am at home it doesn't even charge, none of the LED lights work, it won't connect to pc companion either and hard reset now does nothing (as in, it doesn't vibrate 3 times anymore).  I tried volume up/down+power button combination, hard reset, held the reset button for longer than 15 sec, I removed sd card and sim, nothing works the phone is just lifeless. I haven't dropped it or used it intensely, it never overheat or anything of that sort.
My xperia z2 is completely discharged, while I do not use it. He lay there for about a week, maybe more. Now I tried to turn it on, but it does not turn on. Does not respond to a hard reset, and not charging. I tried to charge it for 2 consecutive days. He did not turn on. When I tried to connect it to a PC, the red LED lights up. Do not run any mode fastboot nor flashmod. The LED is still illuminated. Although the phone is not connected to anything.Â
My first Sony phone and its been great. until a few days ago. Â I charge my phone overnight, every other day due to the lovely battery life. Â But a couple times now, I have woken up to a dead phone. And being late due to no alarm! Â I changed chargers and leads and no change. Â Last night, I woke at 2am to my phone going nuts, kept notifying me of the charger being plugged in, then out, then in, then out, over and over again and buzzing at same time and would not respond to my input. Â Eventually the screen went blank, vibrating continued until I thnk it just ran out of power!
For some reason, my Lumia 1020 died on me today for no apparent reason. I had been listening to music on my way to work this morning, put the phone down on the table, and no more than an hour later the phone was off. I tried powering it up, but nothing happens, nothing appears on the screen, no startup vibration, etc. The phone had a full charge before work. I know if there is a batteryproblem, the phone will display a red battery picture, but this has not happened.
I had my phone unlocked and it was sleeping and then when I came to turn it on nothing would happen. It wouldn't even come on when I plug the charger in. I got it to restart by pressing the bottom volume and power button at the same time.
One month old Xperia Z2 just don't charge anymore. It was somewhere around 20% and didn't charge no matter from PC or wall charger. It is flat battery now, I tried the soft reset with power button and volume, phone vibrates 3 times but still its like a cycle. The red light flash, after a while the phone starts by itself, it shows the sony and xperia logo, then battery low and go off. After a while it does the same and keeps repeating it no matter how many hours it have been charging.
I purchased the Z3+ yesterday and when starting a first charge (30mins as advised in the setup guide) the battery began at 32% charge, i left it for 30 mins and it only got to 38%. It took a good 1hour + for a full 100% charge.
I've now recharged again today and its taken 3hours for a full 100% charge from 0%, is this correct?? I have read it can take 45mins for a full charge.
My phone was working perfectly alright last night but lost charge so went go charge it as normal from the wall socket but it did not charge at all and not even the red power light showing. Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.
I bought my HTC one 5 weeks ago. I powered off last week and the phone would not come on when I went to power up again a couple days later. Took it to the dealer who said he has not seen this happen and also could not get it to work. I asked him if all my photos, videos etc would transfer over to my replacement phone once I received the new one. He said not if I didn't back them up online! I hadn't done that yet since I have only had the phone a few weeks but I have taken a ton of pics and video of my kids and I am desperately wanting to know if there is a way that I can transfer these things to my new phone. He said because he can't even get my phone to power on there is no way to upload these things now and I will lose them I received my new phone today but before I set it up I need to know if there is any way for me to save my pics, etc.
