Sep 15, 2011I keep getting this error since the latest update." the process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. try again"it will pretty much pop up when ever, but especially when I try and go to my gallery or try and take a picture or video. It is also even stopping for from doing simple task like letting my alarm clock on my xperia.I have tried to repair my phone through the sony companion but it always comes up with an error with about quater of the way too go.

Nov 10, 2012So I currently have a Mini Pro (SK17i) which does not have the ICS update yet. I am from the UK and have an unlocked, unbranded, sim free phone. The SI is 1251-9101.I just want to know if my phone will be upgraded or not, instead of this waiting game. I was wondering if we are nearing the end of the update and so not to hold my breath.I have many products by them (typing from my Vaio) and am a proud Sony fan, I have had many Sony Ericsson phones in the past but I am really disappointed in Sony with this whole update fiasco. I realise Sony are good and loyal to their customers by upgrading their handsets which is more than some other phone manufacturers do but on the other hand at least with the other manufacturers you know what you get, you know they will not upgrade so you know what you are buying. With Sony, its all a bit grey. I'd rather be told (if this was the case) that I won't be getting the update, at least it will be clear then and I know where I stand. I am seriously considering leaving Sony for another phone manufacturer. I really don't want an unofficial update by XDA or others either and I can't even find another Mini Pro with ICS to buy, otherwise I would (this is how much it means to me).

Dec 28, 2010Yesterday I bought a brand new Xperia X10 mobile with android 2.1 packed on November 2010 at a SONY Gallery in chennai. After unboxing the mobile, and initial settings, I could not either make a call or receive a call. The showroom guys made a call to Sony support and said, I need to wait for two days as the IMEI numbers are not unlocked yet. I was terribly disappointed since I cannot use the mobile for another two days. But today I just wanted to make a try and inserted my SIM and checked if i can make a call. To my surprise the call was working. I was happy that the phone is activated.
But after 45 minutes, now again I am facing the same problem. The calls are not working. Neither I am able to receive the call nor I can make a call.

Jul 6, 2011Went through symbol number sequence on key pad and it gives me the MEID number instead of IMEI number. Trying to register my phone with sony but the number retrieved is invalid for this purpose. Also removed the Battery cover and tried the serial number ,also no luck there. Anyone else experiance this problem? And if so were you able to retrieve your IMEI number?

I fallowed the instructions and took backup in the third step after downloading new software while updating a popup window appeared "unable to Update try later" the phone is still connected to the PC and Internet connection is also fine. I have disconnected from PC then it is asking for step 3(switch off phone then press and hold back button step) again did that no Luck. Mar 6, 2015I used the factory reset option in my Sony Xperia Z3 and the process is never ending it keeps in the android logo doing the factory reset and it has been like that for like 4 hours now. it should take only 5 minutes but I dunno what is happening.I waited the process to end for 4 hours and after nothing else happened I decided to unplug the charger and wait for it to run out of battery. Then I turned it on again and nothing changed, it went back to the factory reset process with the android logo.

Then I tried pressing the hard reset button located where the 64 GB SD Card is, and still nothing after turning it on again. Once again the cell phone restarted the factory reset process and right now another four horus passed and nothing.

The phone is heating so I am using a laptop cooler to cool the phone and avoid the heating process that is caused by the factory reset process.I still havent tried to remove the SD card.and tried to restart the process.

Nov 6, 2011Since getting the Atrix2 I have had no software issues or Forced Closes.This evening I woke the phone up, slid the Lock Bar to the right and here is what I get:The process com.motorola.process.system has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again,Force Close.Once I push "Force Close I can get the phone to function, however the same screen keeps coming up at random, also each time i slide the Lock Bar, I get the window or warning immediately.It happens consistently when the screen times out and you use the lock bar, slid to the right, and you instantly get the warning screen.I have also tried a few of the programs and when you access them i get the warning window. Anyone have any ideas as to what exactly is going on? No Downloads done today, just email, plume and some music.Ive done several Power Off/on cycles, It doesnt seem to want to go away?
