I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro almost 10 months old. I have problem with using the camera. When I try to click the camera key it focuses on objects or people but doesn't click. It was working ok few weeks ago. I have updated the software etc. online.
View 4 RepliesI just realize my camera won't autofocus, it's only focused on the objects that is quiet far it doesn't work with the nearest objects. Any idea what's going on with it? is it because of some photography apps? cuz i have lots of photography apps.

I was excited about the phone when i first got, it does take terrific pictures.. but after I unlocked my bootloader, it does not focus anymore!! this is very frustrating. The only reason I chose Sony is because of the great camera that it has.. and now it's completely useless..

I've tried repairing my phone but no dice. The issue is greater in case of small objects, eg flowers, etc and the camera doesn't even focus properly on it, resulting in abrupt and blur images.

I'm not entirely sure what the issue is and there are no genius bars nearby to take it to. Later I noticed this tiny black spot in my pictures. Its unlike any 'speck of dust' pictures I'm encountering.Â
I would just like to know whether this is a scratch or a hardware problem or if its something on (not in) the lens that can be removed with cleaning. This is the camera at maximum zoom. The size of the spot increases when I zoom in.
for a few days the lumia camera isnt opening..all the other camera apps like proshot is working though..even the camera key isnt opening it after pressing..

I assumed it had to do with the theme I had installed, as my brother's phone (which has no theme) gave him the option to explore the media folder. I removed the theme and reset defaults but still no option to explore. I wanted to rename some of my media files by accessing the files folder in the application folder but when I want to rename it warns that changing it will make it unreadable.

I got my 1020 last week (Disclaimer: AT&T employee in a corporate store). It's great, except that I have to have my phone PIN locked. With the addition of the Nokia camera software and it being the default, I have to unlock my phone before it goes into the camera. If I switch the button to the standard WP camera app, I can take photos while unlocked.

I can only take a picture of a static (not moving) object with my Droid as it takes about 3 secs from pressing the screen button to actually taking the picture. If not, any way to minimize the effect? Is it much better (faster) with the new phones- like the Droid 3? I have played around with other phones that allowed fast and smooth pictures.

I put different SIM cards into the phone - same thing. Put those SIM cards in another phone - they work.
Is there a way to revert to old build before the update?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am facng problem with its bluetooth. It doesn't accept any file through bluetooth and says that the transfer is stopped by the user. I tried to transfer few ringtones from my other handsets to it (Nokia 6300 and Sony P990i) bt it rejected from both of them. Bluetooth in all sets was on. X10 was set on discoverable mode. I paired it with both the sets and it got paired but mentioned that "Paired but not connected". What may be the reason?

Just wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button) ? The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.

It doesn't show the GPS logo on the top bar until I launch an application that uses it.Obviously while running it will run down the battery a little faster than when not switched on or being used.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI got my X10 Mini Pro ( 1.6 Android, Model U20a, Kernel 2.6.29 / Build 1.2.A.1.174 ) right out of the box today with a Class 2 4Gb card. Problem is, it recognizes the card is in, but can't read it. Right from the start, it smacks me with a SDHC card shaped error, and I get an error message saying the card is blank or in a format that is not recognizable by the device. I got a new card, Sandisk, also 4Gb and Class 4, and it also does not recognize the other card.Reading the card with a card reader, all data is perfectly preserved, and the new card, I formatted it, repartitioned, nothing works.Android asks to format the card, which I allowed on both cards. Nothing happens. I get the warning that it will delete all data, and acknowledge that, but the format seems to take absolutely no time. It just jumps from one screen to the next without aparently doing any work at all, or take any processing time, or any progress bar, which I would have expected.I tried updating the software to no avail. It won't connect to the PC unless the SDHC card is inserted and recognized. Nor it will allow me to download any update without a properly connected SDHC card. So, I'm stuck.When a card is removed or inserted, the phone acknowledges that the card was removed or inserted. Mount/Unmount is not available.
