View 5 RepliesI have updated my phone (X10 mini pro) to latest update (build 2.1.1.A.0.6), and I have stopped receiving SMS. I can send SMS, and I can recive calls and call others.
I put different SIM cards into the phone - same thing. Put those SIM cards in another phone - they work.
Is there a way to revert to old build before the update?
Used to receive some text messages from contact but now receive none can send texts fine.

View 4 Replies View Relatedapart from having no battery in the box when i first got it, i haven't had any major issues with my xperia x10 mini pro as of yet (touch wood!) but having some minor problems.recently, if someone sends me a text message, i would receive it 3 or 4 times, which is pretty irritating. also i've never been able to watch Internet videos (or any videos online for that matter). i have the tubemate app but it doesn't work, and trying to watch a Internet video on the browser doesn't work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy sk17i mini pro received an update (Build Number 4.0.2.A.0.62, i believe?) a few days ago and since then when making/receiving calls the loudspeaker is always on by default, rather than the ear speaker. This didn't happen before. This isn't a major problem but now I have to switch to the ear speaker during every phone call. (By the way, the loudspeaker volume is superb!)Is there a way to set the ear speaker to default for phone calls?

I did it, the process starts normally, download it's package from the web but on step 3 I got this message from outerspace : "Your IP address is not allowed to update/repair brown phone. Please contact to the SEMC network to update your phone"
What is this kind of message ??? What has my IP address to do with my mobile ?

I have repaired 2.1 once and same happens. Is there anyone else having this problem? Someone know why the phone suddenly reboots after this upgrade? Everytime I start the app it comes up with greyed out account and password field. I can not setup the account I had setup before. The user field says "null@vodafone.ie". I looked around in the settings trying to find a solution and found that the Baseband version is "Unknown". I need urgently a fix for this as I need the email for work.
I tried PC companion to upgrade/downgrade but when the upgrade engine starts it comes up with an error that it can not be started and I should contact Sony Ericson.
I bought this phone about a month ago.PC Companion but can not find the upgrade to Android ICS.Sony is still releasing updates for other SI codes, or is it all finished and I'll never have to upgrade to ICS?

So there does not seem to be any reason for restarting.

With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider.After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. My OS is windows XP and I have tried both PC companion and SE Update service for the upgrade. When it comes to the part where I have to "turn off the phone...wait for 5 or 30 secs, connect the cables etc then press the back button while inserting the microUSB into the phone"....then nothing happens. My computer just freezes after a few minutes with nothing indicating on the screen that something...anything is going on. I have tried this several times and for several days already.
