have been a Xperia X10 mini pro user for the past 7 months and face a lot of call drops on my phone. Whether I call or answer, the call gets cutoff. I contacted my service provider who told me there is no problem with the coverage but maybe with the IC chip of the Phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the iPhone 4g through Verizon. During phone conversations, the mic will cut out for 30 seconds-2minutes. The caller can hear me, I can't hear the caller. I've tried to restart the phone, update, etc. FWIW I use a network extender because I don't get great service at my home. However, this shouldn't be an issue as my boyfriend gets fine service and the problem happens when I'm not at home as welll.

My iphone 4s which is on ios 5.1.1 cuts off phone calls after 2 hours 2 mins everytime. I believe this issue started when i upgraded to ios 5.1.

I am close to launching my lovely new phone out the window.... You press call to start a call and it simply beeps and ends the call. when it does this you have no way of making a call how ever many times you try it does the same thing. The person you are trying to call will get a missed call from you as the phone connects for a split second then ends the call.

Whilst on a call, a loud shrill tone would cut in and it was so loud I had to take the phone away from my ear; it lasted up to 20 seconds then the call would cut back in again. On the other end, the person I was speaking to wasn't aware of anything, no noise but it went kind of dead for the duration. This problem was intermittent, not on every call, sometimes twice in one call.
I took the phone back to apple who exchanged it straight away for a new handset which was brilliant service. The very first call I made on the new phone-bang, exactly the same thing. I could not believe it. I got to wondering if it may be the brushed steel protective case so I changed that for a plastic one but it still does it. Not as often as the first phone but it still does it. Any ideas what it could be? I am almost embarrassed to go back to apple again but it can't be me can it? The phone is only 2 weeks old!

If I am calling a customer service line, or my voicemail, I need to enter keypad entries. However once the call begins there is nothing I can do to be able to press anything, unless I pop the keyboard out and back in again. I understand there is a proximity sensor but head isn't that big. Am I doing something wrong? I just updated the OS to the latest version of Android 2.1

The only way to cure it was to power off then on. At first this only seemed to happen when I was using the Bluetooth in the car, but then started happening at random intervals on any call.SE recommended re-installing the OS & this seemed to cure it for a couple of months, but it's back now & a re-install hasn't cured it.

Things look pretty cool but cannot work out how to hang up a call when the screen has gone to sleep. It seems I must push the centre button to get the screen illuminated then depress the icon to hang up.
This seems a little odd to have to push two buttons to hang up.... Have I missed an easier way?

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button) ? The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.

last night my phone was on 2% and turned off, i didnt think much of it and when i got into bed put it on charge like i normally would..
the screen flashes up for a second or sony with the sony icon but then cuts out and when i have woken up this morning it is still doing this.
i have held the volume up button and the power on buttom, but nothing happens it doesn't even vibrate. I have also pressed the red button at the left hand side of the phone but again this doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I updated my phone to the recent software update (2.3.4). Since then, every few days, my call log gets partially deleted. It happened again just today! I even tried completely deleting the call log the last time it happened. I even had the service center process a softeware update as the phone was running a bit slow last month.
