I just got the xpweria mini x10 and its possibly the most appaliing phone ive ever had from sony. Its not easy to use, nothing is easy and the nclear simple interface that i liked so much from sony has all gone. Worst of all it won't bluetooth. it will find other phones and pair but won't then connect. it also locks itself in about ten seconds which makes it a loain to use all the time And generally its too small and messy to use the touch screen comfotabaly.
I have a new 8520 and the connection to my car's bluetooth keeps on going on and off mid-call or even just when the phone is sitting there. I never had a problem with my old Blackberry Bold and my husband is still able to connect his Bold no problem to my car. It seems to be something with the 8520 that it wont make a connection that stays.

i tried to upgrade my x8 1.6 to v2.1 last night .. download complete but installing always unsuccessful... why does it happened?? and now i cant connect my usb to laptop and charger. my phone screen shows a triangle with ( ! ) exclamation mark inside and a phone beside it .i can't even turn it on ...
I tried connecting my Xperia X10 to PC companion but my phone is not being recognized. I've tried connecting and disconnecting as well the method to hold the back button and inserting the usb but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. There is not indication of mounting my phone in the notifications bar but it seems my phone is being charged through the usb. I don't think it's related to the PC or usb that i'm using because I've tried it on a couple of different PCs and used different usb cables. This wasn't an issue for me before I updated my phone to Android 2.1.
Why I can't instal X8 driver on my PC? I can connect my phone to PC Companion (Usb debugging = off), but when I connect it with "Usb Debugging = on" my computer always says "found new hardware" but cannot instal (failed) driver. [URL]
PC Companion won't let me pair my phone and skips that step, this happened around a month ago and reinstalling PC Companion doesn't resolve the issue. I had my PC memorized under Xperia > Conectivity, but after i upgraded to ICS the PC is gone and i can't pair it anymore. When i connect my phone with the USB cable there is also no option from the popup menu to pair the phone like there was with android 2.3. I tried installing PC Companion on my brothers PC and it works, i can pair the phone. Are there any hidden config files PC Companion keeps after uninstalling it or do i need to restart the PC?

I have been having a few problems with my ray ever since i got it. I have been having a few problems with connecting it to a computer using either MTP or MSC. I have sent a message to sony about this problem and they asked me to turn off all my firewalls and anti viruses on my computer and to then try again but then no luck. After some time the mini usb port wasnt working at all and i was sent a new one. As soon as i got it i tried to connect it to my computer but no luck it wasn't picking it up. I also tried it on my laptop and on my mac but yet again nothing worked. Im not sure what im supposed to do now as i want to update my phone to Ice Cream and the updating app on the phone isn't allowing me to do it.
After of getting de ICS update on my Xperia Pro MK16a, I canīt use the Tethering functions on my notebook. I've tried using USB Tethering and Wifi Zone, but my notebook shows "no internet acces". The acces point is configured correctly, I can use the phone browser y access Google Play and other apps (facebook, twitter) without problems.
i got my Xperia Ray last week, everything is ok, but i just canīt sing in to Twitter! the timescape app canīt connect, so i downloaded another app at playstore but didnīt work, i cant even sing in with the default web browser. Iīve tried everything.
I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have).I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.
