But I just try to connect using an Ad-Hoc that I created with my laptop but my Xperia Pro didn't show me that hot spot.
How can I connect to an Ad-Hoc net?
i tried to upgrade my x8 1.6 to v2.1 last night .. download complete but installing always unsuccessful... why does it happened?? and now i cant connect my usb to laptop and charger. my phone screen shows a triangle with ( ! ) exclamation mark inside and a phone beside it .i can't even turn it on ...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI tried connecting my Xperia X10 to PC companion but my phone is not being recognized. I've tried connecting and disconnecting as well the method to hold the back button and inserting the usb but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. There is not indication of mounting my phone in the notifications bar but it seems my phone is being charged through the usb. I don't think it's related to the PC or usb that i'm using because I've tried it on a couple of different PCs and used different usb cables. This wasn't an issue for me before I updated my phone to Android 2.1.

View 7 Replies View RelatedPC Companion won't let me pair my phone and skips that step, this happened around a month ago and reinstalling PC Companion doesn't resolve the issue. I had my PC memorized under Xperia > Conectivity, but after i upgraded to ICS the PC is gone and i can't pair it anymore. When i connect my phone with the USB cable there is also no option from the popup menu to pair the phone like there was with android 2.3. I tried installing PC Companion on my brothers PC and it works, i can pair the phone. Are there any hidden config files PC Companion keeps after uninstalling it or do i need to restart the PC?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having a few problems with my ray ever since i got it. I have been having a few problems with connecting it to a computer using either MTP or MSC. I have sent a message to sony about this problem and they asked me to turn off all my firewalls and anti viruses on my computer and to then try again but then no luck. After some time the mini usb port wasnt working at all and i was sent a new one. As soon as i got it i tried to connect it to my computer but no luck it wasn't picking it up. I also tried it on my laptop and on my mac but yet again nothing worked. Im not sure what im supposed to do now as i want to update my phone to Ice Cream and the updating app on the phone isn't allowing me to do it.

Its not easy to use, nothing is easy and the nclear simple interface that i liked so much from sony has all gone. Worst of all it won't bluetooth. it will find other phones and pair but won't then connect. it also locks itself in about ten seconds which makes it a loain to use all the time And generally its too small and messy to use the touch screen comfotabaly.

I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue.
